Skinty, that's my ideal pram!!! Just can't justify the price... I am watching a couple on eBay that are only about £350... But it will never be mine :(

I think my mum and dad will want to buy it as this is the first grandchild. We are going to the Baby Show so maybe there will be one on offer there. I do love it, and it does turn into other things and a pushchair so maybe it's justifiable cos it will last for years?

eBay is a great idea as well - but I never knew how expensive these types of things are before I got PG. So much money! But we gotta get one soon.

Oooh I have a question I've been meaning to ask. OH and I are going to Italy when Bubba will be around 6-8 weeks and we intend to get a taxi to the airport as we live 40 mins from Heathrow and it's ewasier than taking the car (and cheaper).

But...will the taxi have a car seat? Or will we need to use our own and if so, what do we do with it at Heathrow (as we don;t need it in Italy)? Do we stash it in a locker at Heathrow? Do we ask the taxi driver to take it back to our house/a friend's house?

Originally my parents were going to take us but they got their dates wrong and are also going on holiday at the same time so won;t be able to now, and I'm not sure what to do about the car seat/taxi issue.

EDIT - we will need it for the return journey as well, so taxi driver will need it bring it back with him if he takes it away.

    Any ideas?

For everything you get with that pram and everything is does its actually cheap! ...I know that sounds daft but it is..There are ones that are nothing but a basic pram for over £700 even some at £1000 +

And even the ones say between £200-£300 are not as good value in the long term because they need extra's to be bought with them in order to use them to their full potential.

I know you can get quite cheap travel systems, but i had one at first with my son and had to chuck it away after less than 4 months because of the quailty. He just turned 3 and has so far been through 6 prams!!..In the long run it would of been cheaper to shell out the cash in the first place if you see what i mean...
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

I didnt laugh :(...I know it sounds silly but at first i actually thought it was poo for some reason! Although what would bring me to that conclusion i dont know? ...I put my finger in it and did that thing where you slowly bring it up to your nose to check it out and are tempted to lick it just to see :rotfl:

Tingly gel cos the smell gets me going :D:rotfl::D Nah, just the 'play' one I used, but I guess the tingly one would work. The heat one is horrid! My foof was on fire and not in a good way (just cos I know you love to hear me saying foof) :rotfl:

Skintchick, are you planning on another child? If you are... then it is good value if you can store it :D It is a lovely pram, but not nice to get it banged in your back at clarks shoes by some snotty biach who you then have go to do the even-snottier-than-you glare at untill she appoligises, then you sniff and give her the look that says 'if you were something I scrapped off my shoes, you still wouldn't be worthy of my attention'.... meow

Well it is in long term value. I personally wouldnt buy it as its not practical for me,especially with already having a satanic toddler who has taken to running away in the street all of a sudden :confused:...Amongst other reasons its not "my style" if you understand me..I like weird things :o....Im the type youd see with a pram completely obscene and obsurd and you'd say "!!!!!! is that?!" LOL!! :rotfl:

But i think for all it does and all you get with it..and it seems you do get everything you need with it..Its practically a bargain! Well worth it in my eyes....Now if only they make it with some funny ears on and in multi-colours then i could buy one
