  • Morning all,

Not been on lately as like Elle not feeling that sociable. It finally hit me this week that I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I've got nothing and have nothing organised, so going to try and get fully started this weekend.

Feelie - HUGE congrats to you nd OH, Toby is lovely :D

Off to wake DH as I've just discovered sugar puffs make bump kick like mad! (I wonder why!!!!)

Morning all.. Just been woken up by a phone call from Mum saying she's on her way! It's okay, she's not expecting me to be dressed (can't, she's got my clothes!), just up to open the door and make her toast :D

GISI, yes, will post a couple of piccies :) We're getting all the pics on a CD so think it should be easy enough to do. I don't think I want to put them on FB tho' for everyone to see so will have to sort out an account with somewhere else first - photobucket, or something like that?

tinkerbell - you're a week ahead of me and, in the nicest possible way, it's good to know someone's feeling the same at around now. I don't feel at all prepared - made no decisions on any of the big stuff yet! Just need to have this scan and check again that he is definitely a boy then can get one with some big decisions like the nursery etc.

Pinkpig, I've been buying blue since my 20wk scan but I just want to be sure! ;)

Hope everyone has a good day :) xx

Heeheeeheee, what a night we had!

The funeral was as heartwrenching as expected, and the vicar was an absolute ####. He used the opportunity to remind us that if we're not of his faith that we'll burn in Hell forevermore. He also informed us that when he asked the family to tell him stories about our grandmother, he didn't make enough notes and so his eulogy was short. And then he yelled at the funeral director because the FD was holding the box of dirt and not holding the umbrella securely over the vicar and saving him from God's own clean rain.

We had family dinner at a Greek place in the evening. Imagine our surprise when a good friend of mine, solicitor by day, turned out to be their resident belly dancer by night!

Oh, meant to say I told OH how I was feeling last night when we went to bed. He understood and everything and was hugging me tight as I used his tshirt as a tissue (well.. he shouldn't wear such soft tshirts!), but then said "Hunny, I'm trying to be sympathetic but it's hard when you keep flicking me.. stop it!" - he thought it was me being annoying, but it was actually Bob kicking his hip! :D I think he forgave me/us.. ;)

Am interested to find out where baby's feet are. MFD used to say Benjamin "walked" on the mattress when she lay on a particular side in bed and mine seems to make similar movements wheneven I lie on my left in bed.. like he's being tipped to the side and landing on his feet then "walking" - very odd! :o

    Hi everyone!

New to this but had to tell someone! Me and OH decided to start trying for first baby last month thinking it would take maybe 6 months before we were successful. Came off pill about 6 weeks ago and now just found out i'm about 4 weeks pregnant!!
Was a bit of a shock so soon but over the moon. :rotfl: Made the decision beforehand that we weren't gonna tell anyone until 12 weeks, including the parents, so thought i'd post it on here so i don't explode!
Any hints & tips would be really appreciated. Still not really sunk in.
