Morning ladies,
I'm waiting for the sun to come out so I can get in the garden. I dug the front yesterday (only a strip going down the side of the drive) and put 3 plants in, but going to B&Q later to get a parasol base and some bedding plants. I have no idea what sort of base to get though - there's the MSE in me that says get the cheaper plastic one (£8) as they all do the same job, but there's a lovely cast iron one (£25) and even some marble/granite type ones which I love. Hmmm, will have to see when I get there.
I have a MW appointment on Tues, and another scan in 3 weeks - I'm hoping they might be able to finally tel me a definite sex for the baby. They told me at 20 weeks it was a girl, but now I'm worried that I've gone a bit far buying dresses, hats etc when it could turn out to be a boy!

Morning all,
Not been on lately as like Elle not feeling that sociable. It finally hit me this week that I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I've got nothing and have nothing organised, so going to try and get fully started this weekend.
Feelie - HUGE congrats to you nd OH, Toby is lovely
Off to wake DH as I've just discovered sugar puffs make bump kick like mad! (I wonder why!!!!)You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Morning all.. Just been woken up by a phone call from Mum saying she's on her way! It's okay, she's not expecting me to be dressed (can't, she's got my clothes!), just up to open the door and make her toast
GISI, yes, will post a couple of picciesWe're getting all the pics on a CD so think it should be easy enough to do. I don't think I want to put them on FB tho' for everyone to see so will have to sort out an account with somewhere else first - photobucket, or something like that?
tinkerbell - you're a week ahead of me and, in the nicest possible way, it's good to know someone's feeling the same at around now. I don't feel at all prepared - made no decisions on any of the big stuff yet! Just need to have this scan and check again that he is definitely a boy then can get one with some big decisions like the nursery etc.
Pinkpig, I've been buying blue since my 20wk scan but I just want to be sure!
Hope everyone has a good dayxx

Heeheeeheee, what a night we had!
The funeral was as heartwrenching as expected, and the vicar was an absolute ####. He used the opportunity to remind us that if we're not of his faith that we'll burn in Hell forevermore. He also informed us that when he asked the family to tell him stories about our grandmother, he didn't make enough notes and so his eulogy was short. And then he yelled at the funeral director because the FD was holding the box of dirt and not holding the umbrella securely over the vicar and saving him from God's own clean rain.
We had family dinner at a Greek place in the evening. Imagine our surprise when a good friend of mine, solicitor by day, turned out to be their resident belly dancer by night!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oh, meant to say I told OH how I was feeling last night when we went to bed. He understood and everything and was hugging me tight as I used his tshirt as a tissue (well.. he shouldn't wear such soft tshirts!), but then said "Hunny, I'm trying to be sympathetic but it's hard when you keep flicking me.. stop it!" - he thought it was me being annoying, but it was actually Bob kicking his hip!
I think he forgave me/us..
Am interested to find out where baby's feet are. MFD used to say Benjamin "walked" on the mattress when she lay on a particular side in bed and mine seems to make similar movements wheneven I lie on my left in bed.. like he's being tipped to the side and landing on his feet then "walking" - very odd!0 -
