Best stick with milk, given the amount we have!

I've just posted this on the Discounts board - code for 25% off at www.tommeetippee.co.uk
Found in the Pregnancy and Birth mag I bought today (hope that's an okay way to do it, Tine!
).
ETA: And another one! Here for the code for £15 off at www.cravematernity.co.uk

4pm. OH at work until at least 1pm then it takes about an hour to drive there.
My mum's coming round in the morning to keep me occupied - we're going carpet shopping and on one of those "dash to lots of places" missions to pick up all sorts from around town. Got to order the bathroom suite for collection on Monday too.
Builder wants me to pick a few things - boring stuff like an extractor for the bathroom(?!) - from the Screwfix catalogue, but baby mags are much more fun!

Hoping the poor little mite looks like OH and not me..

I think it's just because it makes it more real. It's almost as if I'm a bit scared of bonding with him and seeing him will make me bond with him.. viscious circle cos I do really want to see him so I just need to get on and do it! I think it's just the past m/c and my mum's previous stillbirth which keeps it in my mind that he's not here until he's out and bawling his lil' head off..
Does that make any sense? I'm just rambling now..

I was just going to ask if your night owl was still awake!
Just as I hit "post", mine did something really odd - was either his head or his bum he just stuck out! Probably his bum with OH as his father!
Speaking of OH, he's just wandered in and thrown himself down on the sofa. He's talking jibberish (tired not drunk!) so I'd best make him go to bed - he's up at half six!
Taking my mag to bed - leaving ScrewFix catalogue on the sofa!

Just a quick update!
Baby Toby born 19:40 on 15th April. 7lb 7oz and all healthy.
Went to the delivery suite to get BP checked on the evening of 14th, diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and wasn't allowed home! Slept overnight, then induced in the morning. Baby didn't like being induced and got quite distressed, so was prepped for C-Section. Doctor decided to give me an hour longer to try naturally, and managed to go from 5cm to 10cm in that hour and managed a natural birth! Had lots of gas and air and an epidural that didn't give full coverage. Was pretty trauamatic and high risk, OH thought he was going to lose both of us. Had two midwifes at all times, assigned just to me and they didn't leave the room for the whole labour. Usually had about 4 people in the room, lots of coming and going and going.
Will write proper story when I get a chance. He is a very sleepy baby and isn't latching on well so lots of feeding. Making progress though!
Persuaded them to let me home after 24 hours, glad to be in my own bed but feel a bit sick and achy, but suppose that is to be expected!
Congratulations Feelie :T:j:T
Toby is lovely! Hope you are settling in at home nicely and that the feeding is going okay...
Take care
