    Happy Brithday Ladymay :)

Celyn90 - thanks for the heads up - i now have a new mug and plate, torch, campy tool thingy and some coffee sachets.

Came back to find that next doors dog has been having fun in my raised beds - bl**dy annoyed as i moved them to the front for just that reason. I've covered them with fleece for the time being to see if anything comes up although it will be very higgledy piggledy now. all the plant babies that were in the bath are doing very well and have been moved downstairs to get some sun. If they're very good i might let them out to play outside later in the week.

Train journey was shocking - two mums with 6 under eights between them. Screaming crying and shouting at each other the whole way - and the kids were just as bad too. The kids all had those big cup things you get at holiday camps with prob a litre of coke in - hmmmmm.

dd(12) is hopefully getting picked up by Mr Caring Sharing in a bit which is of course too early for dinner so I shall have poached eggs and then pack my rucksack and make my lunch for tomorrow
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

(((((((((((((((Noahspennilessmummy)))))))))))) Enjoy your day off tomorrow & listen to music whenever you can its a known stress reliever.

Some bad news here this afternoon - my Dad was taken to hospital during the night with severe chest pains. The worse thing is that they are away in their caravan in York - they only arrived yesterday - it was the first time they've taken it away this season. He had a blood test to check for a heart attack and the result came back this afternoon as it NOT being a heart attack but probably unstable angina. My Mum suffers from angina so its not a massive worry and we know some of his cartaroid artery is blocked from the scans when he had the stroke last month so it will probably be connected (you'd never believe that they have never smoked & were fit & healthy would you?) Its the fact that he's got to stay in York City Hosp until at least Monday as he's too unstable to move to Bury which is where we are. My poor Mum is very upset & I'm worried for both of them. Our car is off the road & the caravan is only a 2 berth so there's nowhere for me to stay if I could get over there. At least they have insurance that will bring the car, caravan & them back home if needed & if the worse came to the worse I'd find a way of getting there.

Sorry to go on but please keep them in your thoughts/prayers please :A Thank you.

(((((SunnyGirl)))))) - how worrying for you. If your Dad is in hospital, will your Mum be on her own in the caravan? If it is 2 berth could you not stay there with her if need be? Is the caravan park far from the hospital?

Will be saying a prayer for your DD

    (((HUGS))) to you SG

Celyn - Here is an idea I have been meaning to try, it is a pillow made from woven ribbons, looks good.

 Hiiiii! Actually getting chance to post now.

Not much is happening with me really...I have a new beau :D ( a month last Wed., but I did not want to get my hopes up too soon. Work is the same as always, got double time time today and Monday (and Sunday too :) ), so hopefully will get my O/D paid off pretty soon.

On the OSing front, my veg seeds have sprouted (well, sweetcorn hasn't ) and will be going to Plymouth tomorrow to get bigger pots, more compost etc to pot them up into. Fingers crossed!
Have been trying a few new recipes this week as well, that is about as exciting as my life gets!

Anyway, just wanted to pop in to say hi, and hope everyone is well x

Camden was DH and my haunt when courting ;)

Sunnygirl - thinking of you and your parents.

NPM - Hope your ok, and enjoy your days rest tomorrow ;)

Decided to stay put this weekend and carry on saving for proper holiday in the summer to whitby :j:T

not a very MSE day today, DD's needed shoes/trainers  plus new summer dresses for school for DD1. DD2 got doodles and this year we actually got them in time and didn't end up with what is left :T.

Can't remember if i told you about the rats in our garden, anyway we have em, so DH went to BIL y'day for rat poison , also asked next door if they would like some, so he went over to put it behind shed  it was full of empty food packet, bread bags etc :eek:. No wonder we've got rats .

Considering these are new houses less than a year old you'd think people would take more care of them .

Anyway i'm off now to potter about,

EDIT - woohoo blair weech good on you.

Thanks for that :A I've calmed down a bit now & having investigated the train times/fares etc I can get to York & stay with Mum if needed. My DH is doing nights from tomorrow for a week so I'll have to weigh up my options very carefully. I have friends who could probably manage the children between them so its something I can consider. Luckily the holiday site they chose is only 4 miles from York centre and they are with their friends so Mum has some support there. It's just difficult not been there myself as I would be normally. We're a very close family as there's only me so we've always supported each other.
