I have been given some Clubcard vouchers, but are not in my name or address. I understand that it might be difficult to exchange them for vouchers because of this, but I dont know if I can just redeem them at Tescos for goods (you know - the old way!!), and if they require production of the clubcard itself in order to redeem them.
Many thanks in advance.
To be honest it depends on who serves you - Be prepared for the fact you may get stopped from using them though.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

My mum gave me some vouchers earlier this year and I managed to exchange them for deals tokens online, no problems. I don't think I mixed them with my own vouchers when I ordered though - tbh I can't remember! Certainly worth a go if that's what you want to use them for. Yes you can use them in store to redeem goods. The cashier will not check the name on them - guaranteed! You shouldn't need to have a clubcard but have one with you just in case. Any clubcard will do - even one of those temporary ones from the application form. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

No, it will only work if you have the card the vouchers were issued to, apparently.
We saved our vouchers up all year and tried to use them for our big Christmas shop, but the cashier wouldn't accept them without the clubcard and told us the till wouldn't "throw the vouchers out" unless the clubcard had been scanned. As the card has been lost it will be a bit difficult!! We had a debit card with the name on but she still wouldn't take them. Was she telling us a load of rubbish or is this a new thing they brought in to prevent people using vouchers not issued to them?
Also, I was wondering - seeing as we've now been told the vouchers are useless in store without the clubcard can we still use them online or not??As we've never shopped online with Tesco i'm not sure how the vouchers work as regards to being deducted from the total.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!0 -

Just to let people know, this info was posted by a member of https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk first. I'm sure Mcdonag wouldn't mind giving that forum some credit for the post that has been copied. The thread is here if anyone is interested. http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=27380 -

mcdonag, I think that you should give credit to the OP of all this information, who was pumpkin on http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/forum/index.php and not post it as if was your own work.
Pumpkin obviously spent quite a bit of time on it.0 -
I also noticed this on the other forum but never thought to look at who posted it first!0

Sazere, I know the moderator who put in a lot of hard work to put the information together, seems a bit tight not to even mention them or the site! It's been on there a few days which is why I noticed it had been copied and pasted on this thread!0
