I need to get breakdown cover and want At Home, Roadside, Recovery and Onward Travel, Joint cover. On the RAC site this costs £130.99. However Tesco don't offer this combination.
They do either Roadside, Recovery and Onward Travel, Joint at £39.25 (quoted cost £157) or Roadside, At Home, Joint at £31.25 (quoted cost £127).
Do I really have to buy both products at over £70 in vouchers, duplicating the Roadside cover? Why don't they offer equivalents to what is on the RAC site and how do they justify their quoted costs? I can't see these prices anywhere on the RAC site.
Looks like poor value in terms of Clubcard use, or am I missing something?0 -

Im not sure if this is still the case but when we signed up to our RAC cover last year, we got the onward travel one, im sure i read somewhere that you could upgrade it with RAC to have at home aswell. We never looked into it but it may be worth contacting them to find out.

cmorgan wrote:I was wondering this too. I have tried ringing Sainsbury customer services but the closest I got was to be told that the person with the information was not in. From previous posts there would appear to be 12 stores nationwide that accept these but which ones are they. Perhaps we can pool our knowledge on stores that we know do accept them?:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A0

Not sure if it's been posted here, I'm sure it has! but, I've just had a fun half hour doing my usual recycling at Texco and using their new recycling centre. I managed to pick up 20 clubcard points just by doing what I do anyway!
Quite fun using the machine too!0 -
I have seen a number of items (one inparticular) that have the barcode on the SEL hi-lighted in blue. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this might be.
many thanks0 -

If the SEL is printed in blue then this means that an EPW (Emergency Product Withdrawal) has been issued and the product is not for sale - This can happen when a supplier suspects the product may be contaminated etc,Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
taxiphil wrote:There's no danger of that happening. Sainsburys wouldn't even try to ask Tesco to give them the cash value of the vouchers as Tesco would just laugh in their face.
Sainsburys are simply incurring the cost themselves as an exercise in luring customers away from Tesco.
Because Tesco 'own' the vouchers (Read the T+Cs on the back of the vouchers) they are requesting that JS return ALL vouchers used to Tesco;)Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
I'm going to use my Clubcard deals tokens in mfi to get a washing machine and a fridge.
Having just moved into my first house, I need them now really, but could wait until the January sales.
Does anyone know if mfi ever reduce the price of these items in their sales?0
