Buying my stolen goods on ebay????

Back to the task of helping Mandy..
I think if you have reasonable suspicion that it is yours, you need to report it as appropriate - eBay, Police etc.
Mind you, you need hard evidence/proof. Get them to send the IMEI if possible - I don't know of any other way to prove it's yours.
Anyhoo, report it (it may disappear from eBay and the seller might be gone in a flash too).Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
If all goes to plan you will get your phone back, chances are the seller will say they "found it" police will not prosecute on committing a crime through finding, ill guarantee it, there will not be enough evidence.
Theres more than enough evidence given those circumstances. How can the seller argue they haven't assumed ownership when they sold it on?:rolleyes:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. And frankly, if you wish to boast about how much you earn, then you can surely afford to buy a new phone
I can't imagine that the police would take you seriously for one second - nor could they prosecute the seller, as they did not steal the phone. Just claim it on your insurance and let this person get on with their own life.
The seller IS guilty of theft IF that is the OP's phone. Use your education and do some research into theft. By the way any payment received will also be classed as stolen property.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I think that's the risk that anyone who does that takes. The responsibility lies with the seller of such items to ensure that it is not stolen.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -

If we are now picking up on the grammatical errors of posts then I think you'll find the word is although.

I believe the poster misplaced a comma and they meant the sentence to read...
Comma after as - not going.I hate to keep this aspect of the discussion going as, though I am not trying to insult anyone, some people seem to take my comments that way, but I must add to my original post.
Now you can call me pedantic.

If you buy the phone and it does in fact turn out to be yours, then since you've had it blocked, it'll be blocked when you receive it from the seller and you can claim our money back that way, plus report him for selling a stolen phone.Sigless0 -
if you want me to msg the seller for the number and some pics just send me a pm with the item number and i will be mroe than happy to assist you0
