    Hi all,

Finally ventured out today for the first time! Had 4 NSD's in a row, but had to go and buy some food, guess have to eat eh!

Bought the Susan Boyle CD for my mum's Christmas, listening to it right now and it's fab, think will have to buy it for myself too. Not much else to report, still got a terrible cough but bought some more cough mixture, hope clears up soon.

MOT due as well, will need to think about when to book it in. Got about £80 saved up so far but sister's OH will be doing whatever work needs done, at cost. Hopefully it won't need anything done. Anyway off for an early nite, might go to work tomorrow if feeling ok, but if I wake up like I did this morning, might not bother. Nite all x
  • Oh dear - was it new washing powder or do you think your skin has just decided to object to your normal one? Hope things calm down a bit anyway.

    Afternoon all,

Thought I'd be back at work today but it wasn't too be, had another crappy night's sleep, no scratching this time, just coughing all night. Phoned the doctor to see if could get something for the cough (normal cough mixtures not working), eh we can't give you anything but if you want to make an appointment!?! Why would I make an appointment if they won't give me anything?, very confusing!! Anyway just gonna do what mum says and drink hot lemonade and wrap up, mother's always know best.

Managed to make a start on the livingroom and kitchen, looking tidy and clean but upstairs is still a riot. Determined to get the place spick and span by Christmas, decluttering as I go and doing any repairs that need done. Just a quick break then better get on (having too many breaks, ha)!

It could be the washing powder, not sure as the sheets I used have been washed and put away ages ago (got a few sets I use), so I might have changed washing powder since they were done.

    Hi All,

Feeling better today and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with it being the weekend, honest! Still a bit sniffly and coughy but feel like I now have some energy back.

Had to take car today for it's MOT, IT PASSED:j:j My brainy little Yaris passed it's test! Only thing it will need two new front tyres at some point but sister's OH can check them and guesstimate when I should get them. Still have £40 left from my MOT budget so will put that towards the tyres.

Managed to get the quilt cover on the bed, room is semi tidy but at least everywhere else is looking good. Even managed to plaster round my light switches - it's only taken me two years :o OH on his way down so better go start the dinner. We are going to the pics tomorrow so will have a cheap bite whilst out (saves me cooking all the time). Also paid my Virgin (only 1 more payment to go) and my Halifax CC. Hardly spent a penny this week so might be a good month.

OH is standby next Saturday so talked my sis into going to Edinburgh to have a mooch round the German market. There is an MSE meet but since sister doesn't know about this site, could take a lot of explaining

Well have a good weekend everyone, signing off now til at least Sunday (maybe) x
