    Hi Swinstie

Hope you're settled in your new office. We're moving next year, in March. I'm dreading it because they're squeezing more people in and we won't have the desk room we've got now. We all keep saying we'll be like battery hens!

You should think about trying ebay. I dithered over it for about a year before I finally got round to it. It's so easy to do I am ashamed of myself for putting it off. I put 10 items up for sale and have sold 7 so far. I've only made £23 profit after postage so not exactly getting rich but better than nothing. I wanted to make £31 to pay for my manicure/pedicure the day before I go on holiday so with the ebay money and money in PayPal for surveys I did I've got £33 so am happy with that. Don't think I'd like to ebay on a regular basis though as too much faffing about for my liking.

Congratulations on being below £10k. :T I'm hoping to go below £2k this week when OH gets paid. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Hello Swinstie!

    Hope you are well?

I keep catching bits of your thread so I've decided to go right to the beginning and start from there!!

    Wish me luck!!

  • Hope you are feeling better! I suffer with hayfever, plus quite bad cramps and really bad PMT, so as you can imagine, I am not exactly a delight to look at or to be around. So I understand how rubbish it is!

Ohhh - how good is GA!! So do you think Izzy will die? I think she will, and on the day of the wedding. McSteamy is looking srummy. Not sure what has happened to Meredith's face, she looks puffy? Perhaps its her allergies!! LOL.

Ebay: well, what can I say. It can be a right faff. Though can be worth it. I would recommend the "few things at a time technique"..... start off slowly and build up.

Good luck ! Just think of the overpayments on the debt you can make when you do make some wonga!

    Evening all,

Not had much to report the past couple of days, first day in the new office was ok, had about 50 crates to un-pack, and had a run-in with a guy about filing cabinets in 'his' computer room and really had to bite my tongue, he's a nice guy but he is very snippy and I can't be ar*sed with stuff like that! This is the same guy who moaned cos my phone was ringing when I was on holiday - !!!!!!! I'm on holiday, answer the phone, I answer everyone elses! Argh!

Anyway, GA, I think Izzy will die, but whose wedding are we talking about here, McDreamy's?! It's great taping on V+, down to having about 66 hours to tape on, so only 14 hours of progs to watch (only had it a week, ha)!

Going to go through car-boot stuff and find things for ebay, going to go for it and try listing at least 1 thing, not sure how you work out postage though, anyone?!?

Well off to bed shortly, having to get up earlier to get to work on time, apparantly if not parked in the premises, high chance of car being vandalised - that's all I need!

    Nite all x

Hell yeah! Totally. Which is why I have moved on to McSteamy.

Have you noticed George is not about so much in this series? Shame as he is cute.

McDreamy and Grey are getting married, and Izzy is organising it all from her sick bed.

Yang and the Ginger Nutter (who tried to kill her in her sleep) will probably get back together.

Sorry - am off on a tangent.....

Way to go on your new star Swinsters!

    Afternoon everyone,

Well after having a few days off, thought I'd better get updating, as things are going from bad to worse! Still haven't got the house in order, did do it last week but it looks like yet another hurricane has done it's job and messed everything up again. I really need a bigger house, but since my mortgage is so tiny it's hard to imagine having to pay double or even triple for a bigger house. OH and I are going to try and sort the garden this weekend, so perhaps the outside will look a bit better :D

Went to the Oasis concert on Wed in Edinburgh, they are not my favourite group, but it was ok. The place was full of neds, you could just tell there was going to be trouble, we managed to escape back to the hotel un-scatched so that was a bonus.

Money situation is looking dire, ok in a couple of areas, but overall I have went over my budget by £100 - really bad but then again had two birthdays this month and the concert etc., gonna have to pull up my breeks before the holidays. My own fault as well as I bought a dress yesterday £75 reduced to £35 from Oasis, wish hadn't seen it as not been near a shop for ages and have been really good - might take it back :o

Anyway nothing else exciting happening so will only update every few days or so, don't want to bore anyone, ha! I am working on Sunday as well so not much time to do anything,

    Have a nice weekend x
