Sorry, for that you need a lifestyle consultant, not an Internet Access board...
but I do recall a statistic somewhere that basically says that people who subscribe to premium channels hardly ever watch most of them after the initial novelty wears off.
And I am certainly in favour of anything that makes Rupert Murdoch £234 poorer each year.No free lunch, and no free laptop

OK I give in. The £234 will stay in my pocket then

Lindy, if you remove your Sky Card, the channels you can get are with a couple of exceptions the one that you will continue to receive if you stop subscribing.
The minimum sub for Sky ATM is £16.50 for a single mix (quite enough for me).
Beware Sky + though as once you have had it you'll wonder how you ever survived without it.
You don't need to pay Sky for a 'Freesat from Sky', card as your existing one will perform that function for you.
Just to be clear their are two satellite services both confusingly called Freesat, Freesat from Sky, and plain Freesat which is from the BBC/ITV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Demon are very competitive.
About £17 per month for 8MB broadband0 -
penrhyn, thanks for this. I will take the freesat with Sky and save the money makes sense as Job Seekers is just around the corner
. Mind you a nice long break would be good though.
I will see how I get on and will give Sky+ a miss as I don't need any more techy stuff, I can't deal with what I have :rotfl:.0
