I hope I am not breaking any rules posting these

    Hi Bitsy Beans,

Providing the recipes haven't been copied and pasted from elsewhere on the web or copied directly from a book then you aren't breaking any rules. :)

Popcorn is always a hit in my house. Simply put 2 tbsp of poppping corn and 2 tbsp of oil in a pan with a lid. Heat until you can hear popping, wait until the popping dies away and voila!, a huge bowl of popcorn.

Eat plain with a little salt or melt a bit of butter and toss with the butter and flavourings -garlic salt, spices, parmesan, rosemary, thyme....

OK thanks - I did try and see if anything was mentioned in the FAQ before I posted but couldn't find anything.
I did take the details from a book but not word for word. Is that OK? Am I breaking the rules? I hope not!! don't want to get anyone in trouble least of all me!

I think that you're ok, but to be on the safe side just edit your post and write in the name and author of the book that the recipes are taken from - I think that I am right in saying that as long as you acknowledge you are ok. Anyone knowing better please tell us!

Thanks Seakay I have added the details like you suggested.
If I need to delete then I can do.

I know that both nigella and delia do savoury muffins, which if you make as mini-muffins make nice savoury snacks.

Cheese straw recipes can also be used to make little cheese biscuits if you have a tiny cutter. Both of these freeze well (as does the dough) and can be reheated as and when you need them.

Homemade houmus and crudites is one of my favourite snacks. I also make aubergine dip, cannellini bean dip, dukkah to have with bread and oil.

Asda do Garden Gang fruit packs (Apple & Grapes etc) for 44p or 3 for £1. My sis loves them!
