We're looking to move next year (hoepfully!)so I've been keeping an eye on houses on RM and things seem to be moving relatively quickly around our way (Berkshire). I've bookmarked 30 houses since Christmas and most of them SSTC within a month. Of course it would be great to find out the prices they actually sold for.....nethouseprices takes too long!Debt at LBM (March 2006): £30,000
DEBT FREE SINCE APRIL 2008!!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!0 -

keep it a secret though - otherwise Sir H will be calling it another conspiracy theory that estate agents put sold stuff on Rightmove just to boost the numbers and create a different impression.
how his view would be different if he could afford to buy... :rolleyes:Sir_Humphrey wrote: »SSTC properties stay on Rightmove for ages. I also noticed some EAs dumping loads of properties on to Rightmove already SSTC (they must have sold ages ago). Not worth reading too much into it.0 -

They do, they love to increase their costs in a bust all businesses do.:D
Lets face it if you were selling your house would you agree for the estate agent to put it down as SSTC if it was not sold.
Sir H is his hiding in cuckoo land if he thinks any seller would agree to that.0 -
I saw a load of properties get dumped in one day by one particular EA in South London. That's the truth, take it or leave it.Politics is not the art of the possible. It consists of choosing between the disastrous and the unpalatable. J. K. Galbraith0

i'm wondering why a seller would want their house relisted on Rightmove if it had already been sold.0 -

Would be nice for them to do so.
I don't think a link to a discussion on here is actual evidence. Again did you find a reason for it (admin error etc) or just make your own mind up.0 -
