Hey everyone! I hope things are going well in the planning/making department?

I've made my bridesmaid's earrings this afternoon! They're based on a design I've seen sold elsewhere, as they weren't *quite* what I wanted, (and being MSEing!) I decided to give it a go and do them how I wanted..... Well, it went AMAZINGLY well - I am SO pleased with the result! Showed them to MIL this evening and now she wants me to make her a pair in green, and a matching necklace  So, bought the bits online when I got back, can't wait to attempt it :D It's soooo much fun! Here's a pic, courtesy of DF (I couldn't get a good pic )

The top ones (made 3 pairs) are for the older BMs, and the bottom ones (made 2 pairs) are for the younger ones :D

lovely!! Is it easy to do? How did you learn?

It's fiddly, but worth it! Plus it got easier once I got into the swing of things.....broke a few headpins along the way, but got around 100 anyway heehee. I just guessed tbh :rotfl: think it worked lol. Wasn't going to spend a load on a book about making jewellery!

You need a pair of round nosed pliers, you twist it round to make a loop. It's the trickiest bit tbh. What I did was to make the complete loop (so, make the loop and use the pliers to "squish" it gently together to make the loop complete so nothing can fall off it), the gently open the loop on the earring wire, attach the dangle (yes, really rubbish made up words I know lol) and close the earring loop gently.

    Thanks MsChazzer and rinoo :o

i made a ton of stuff for our wedding in 2007

my sister is the crafty one and promised to make lots of things for us

however, some @ss broke her heart so she moved abroad and left me to it!

i made all of the invites, info sheets, table plan, table numbers, menus, order of service, some presents (personalised wedding albums)...

just trying to upload the pictures now and will then leave some links below..
