svjenni - the invites are brilliant, well done!
Jem - i love the photo albums - had been thinking of making one for each of my 2 friends who get married in the few weeks after us, but having trouble finding where to buy the blank albums from. Any ideas?0 -
Hi everyone, thanks for your replies and compliments :-)
Kte - i added the hankie on accident, which is why my posts didn't include it LOL. However, it was very cheap, just a couple of pounds from eBay. I gave the text to the seller and she made it for me, HTH
Snugglepants, i bought the black albums from http://www.themulberry-bush.com/
can;t remember how much they were, but they were definately the cheapest around at the time :-)0 -
Here's what I did today:

These are some of the thank you cards I've done for the bridal party, we had just enough spare blanks in the house and then we used Moo cards to decorate, featuring our photos (the arty ones are by OH), one from each of us. I tried to make the images relevant to the person, so the one with the dog on it is going to FMIL as the image is from a portrait OH did of his mum's dog.
I made some beanbags to entertain the kids (for about 5 minutes or so!), thought they would cause less damage than anything involving balls. I had some patchwork squares that I didn't particularly like so this was the ideal opportunity to use them up, filled them with dried peas. I bought a pretty basket from Poundstretcher for them to throw them into.
And on top of that been dealing with plumbers and joiners after a bathroom leak and OH spraining his calf muscle, poor thing.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

Ms Chasser - just been on moo.. its brill! So think i'm going to do some cards and stickers.. can you chooce 100 totally different photos for the 9.99 and 90 different photos for the stickers?
Was thinking they stickers would be excellent for my exploding boxes and I like the idea of making magnets (using the cards) of the wedding for people afterwards..0 -

You can choose 100 different photos, be warned that the process can take a while though! You can basically choose any number under 100 and they'll double the first ones up to make it up to 100.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments on yesterday's creativity. OH now been signed off work, must admit it's mellowed me out, it's like instead of worrying about things going wrong, something has gone wrong and it's not the end of the world. As long as we make it to say our vows and have a good time, that's all that matters. Although it does suck that he's in pain.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

Hello all, looks like i've missed a few things, not been on in a while and have done even less towards the wedding. Back on the horse now though, i've rung the registrar about getting the date fixed and have collected some old material offcuts that my frind no longer wanted, don't know what i'm going to do with them but they'll come in handy for something. Can i get a general concensus on something?
I'm having real issues with food for the wedding and wondered what other people are doing. It seems to be one of the main costly areas after hiring a venue and i wondered if anyone had the details of a good ceterer in the Derbyshire area? Long shot i know, or iff anyone knows of a decent website where there are reviews of caterers or something.
We still can't decide what to do about food, don't know if we are going to do a picnic made by caterers, a picnic made by us and family, a cold buffet by caterers, a cold buffet by us and family, or whether to ask each guest to bring a dish and do it that way???? So confused and can't seem to get to grips with how much t will all cost, also can't begin to think about music, i really don't want a DJ but some of my friends are handy with decks so don't know whether to get some and let everyone have a go! also would really like my sisters to sing as they have amazing voices/ I want the feel to be spontaneous, but that never really happens because everyone is too shy so there has to be some planned stuff as well.
Deciions, decisions, decisions...ok...tea...fag...and then i'll think some more!
Love to all and congratulations to Chazzer!0 -
