Kelda - I made that for my grandma for Christmas, with pictures of my sons in and she loved it. I plan to make some more in advance and give them out to the hens that come on my hen night as a thanks and something to remember the night by!!

I agree that is a lovely and simple idea for a place card. I have been advised by my sis-in-law 2b to get place cards and separate the families and friends etc - i just thought everyone would mix together (since having a buffet due to large numbers) but she said it wouldnt happen on my h2b family - ie they would stick together :( we are having an entrance toast when we arrive at the venue - so i will instruct the venue to put something similar to that on people's glasses and dont have to sweat on getting place card holders

    thank you so much x

were they easy to make? I'm a bit worried I'll be able to make the box but then my glueing on pf photos etc will be sh*t!!

Hey everyone! I hope things are going well in the planning/making department?

I've made my bridesmaid's earrings this afternoon! They're based on a design I've seen sold elsewhere, as they weren't *quite* what I wanted, (and being MSEing!) I decided to give it a go and do them how I wanted..... Well, it went AMAZINGLY well - I am SO pleased with the result! Showed them to MIL this evening and now she wants me to make her a pair in green, and a matching necklace  So, bought the bits online when I got back, can't wait to attempt it :D It's soooo much fun! Here's a pic, courtesy of DF (I couldn't get a good pic )

The top ones (made 3 pairs) are for the older BMs, and the bottom ones (made 2 pairs) are for the younger ones :D
