Well done boozecruiser, unfortunately you will get all the snide comments from the roll over and tickle my tummy brigade as well as the big deal brigade, so well done, at least it made them look at your file if nothing else.

Plus the brigade that thinks someone suing over a non-issue is a silly way of approaching things.

Well done Boozer. Hopefully Orange will learn something and this will happen less to other people in future.

The only thing that has suprised me here is finding an amount of apparantly mean spirited people who seem to be on the side of the Companies who Dump on us rather than the people who have been Dumped on!

Compensation grabbers cost us all money?

I'm glad that it's settled and that you're happy.

I don't think you would have got the full amount that you were claiming as you would have to justify your costs etc and that would be difficult.

Well done for sticking to your guns though. It's quite stressful to go through something like this, but at the same time, getting a "win" as such makes it worth it.
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."

    !!!!!!

What part of a so called non-issue do you find hard to understand,

"And then two months ago the DLC Debt Collecting Agency started to Harass me with Telephone calls and Letters." Is this a non-issue

Did you read the Op post, pray enlighten us exactly and spell out how you would have dealt with this ?

    1. Ignored all correspondence and hoped it would all go away ?
    2. Write to the company and tell them to stop?
    3. Ring them and ask to speak to a manager?
    4. Write them a blank cheque and ask them to fill in the numbers bit?

Please detail specifically what you would have done differently ? dont generalise, just specifics please, and then possbily boozecruiser can tell you if this was attempted or not, and what effect it had, and then you can answer and we may all learn from you ?

    Congrats :D

    Thank You.

I look on this as perhaps a small moral victory rather than a financial one.:D

Big deal. You could have achieved that without issuing proceedings.

Managed to get £475 out of Tiscali for a relative for a very similar situation...no need to issue proceedings either.

If you have been in a similar situation why have you been such a Tozer about everything then M8y:rolleyes:
