Yesterday I orddered an Inspiron 1300 with the dvd writer and the wifi, also 15.4"screen, 6 cell battery and xp on cd on and 512mb ram. This came to £389 plus pennies through the employee purchase scheme. I have an internet order reference for this and received an order number for it today.
I have just come back from the dell site where I managed to get on the EPP scheme through one of the inspiron 1300 special offers you guys have been on about. I ordered the same spec as above but with only 256 mb ram for £317 plus pennies.I think this is an amazing deal! I have an internet order order reference for this .
Obviously I want to cancel the first order now. How do I do this? I can't see anyway of doing it over the internet when I am loged into my account on the dell site. Please help!
I wouldn't cancel yet..I don't think you'll get the lowe price - you may have an internet reference (like me) but I don't think you'll get the order confirmation....0 -
I just got order conformation for mine, well at least I think it is. It had 2 pdf's attached with the e-mail.

Sorry to add to the confusion, but I am on the Dell website at the moment and can get the memory upgrade to 512 MB with the above upgrades for £349.68, would this be a better buy? Many thanks.0 -
it is £120 odd to upgrade memory
total will come to £459-00
or £70 odd for 2 x 2560 -
Does anyone know
a) What courier Dell use
b) What happens if they try to deliver when there is nobody at home?
Thanks0
