I asked her how she handled rude men like that and she made me laugh when she said she just immagined instead of a face it was a large hairy bum talking to her. I was really upset at first but laughing at her later so it was all ok.
It has been kind of quiet here lately hasnt it? I dont really like this board so much since the invasion of all those stupid fashion threads. I couldnt care less what someone else is wearing and certainly wouldnt like to give you all a running commentary of what I have got on :rotfl:

Im glad your manager handled things so well for you. Imagine if he/she was different manager who didn't care less (which some of them are like). I think you have to remember that its the customers who have the problem and not you in these cases but its hard not to take it personally. Glad you were able to laugh about it.

I hate fashion too. I hate being dictated to about what I wear - someone decides what the fashion of the day is and thats all you can buy in the shops. Doesn't matter if it doesn't suit most people. :mad: Everything seems to be aimed at tall, thin beanpoles, which I definitely am not! I cannot for the life of me find a decent pair of jeans. I usually get them from New Look but even they haven't got the sort I usually buy. Just want straight leg which are 29" and don't want ones that hang around my hips.

Sorry to rant on but fashion is my pet hate!

So the "fashion people" have finaly taken over and changed the boards name to clthing board.

aha so this is why you cause trouble you dont like the fashion threads! well dont read them then its not compulsory! Stick to the ones you like! Your showing yourself up to be a right nasty piece no wonder you have so many problems!

I think its funny you were verbally assaulted i expect you deserved it you seem quite capable of mouthing of yourself dont you and being unpleasant!

Although my own dislike of the fashion threads is well documented, I have decided on a "live and let live" approach (for now; although if they start to become dominant, I shall take issue again...). However, life itself and this board and forum are not a "one size fits all" and as far I am concerned anyone has a right to let their opposition be voiced.

What that shouldn't mean though is that insults start to be bandied about and fm's be tailgated between threads. I say this as one who can be guilty of this type of behaviour - although have never insulted anyone personally.

Reddevil has overstepped the mark in my opinion. What is being said is verging on abuse and I am considering reporting it as such.

Fair enough - I can't seem to find anything so guess I am not fully up to speed. Typical of me to wade in halfway through something.
