In haste
Snowy - Good Luck!
Bethebee - I shall remember that combination. I found that stardrops and fairy liquid were extremely effective on a desperately neglected grill pan.

Good Luck Snowy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Really busy day planned here and I'm panicking a bit as I've left some paperwork to the last minute and now I need to get so much housework done and can't do the paperwork in peace with the girls at home.
So far I have emptied the DW and one load of washing is on the pulley.
list for the rest of the day is.....
Drag suitcases out of loft.
Start packing.
Make beds and dust bedrooms
Clean utility room
Clean out fridge.
Change bedding in spare room
Motivate girls to tidy their room
Pick up OH's car from garage and get tax for it.
Pay 2 bills
Set up 2 Direct debits.
Ignore rest of paperwork
Prepare tea (chicken salad with chicken roasted yesterday)
Find prominent place to put seedlings so OH doesn't ignore them while I'm away (Marie, yours will probably fare better than mine)
Wash all floors.
Brush down decking.
Aaaargh..... I need a 36 hour day.
Better get on with it.

For once don't have a load of washing to go in the machine as I did loads yesterday.
Tea will be leftover pork with veg and potatoes. Might make kofta kebabs and spiced potatoes for those who hate pork.
Good luck to Snowy for today.
DH brought me the cordless phone in case we get a phone call from the estae agents about the viewing on Saturday. I'm not holding my breath as they have three new build houses to look at.
Why a couple who seem to want a three bedroom new build would look round a four bedroom very large period stone town house I do not know.
They left saying they thought the house might be too big for them - Doh!!!! the size of rooms are clearly stated!!!!! Unless it's a bluff to get us to practically give the house away.
Never mind- I sincerely wish them luck in their new build, especially as they want to move in quickly and will probably want to sell it again in a couple of years. Miouw! Very catty of me but I can't help it."This site is addictive!"

Thanks for this thread it is a really good idea and I do not feel so self conscious about posting here.
Today I have the usual house work.
Need to look or a new computer so please point me in the right direction.
Require new cooker and have done since before Christmas but good causes keep coming up requiring I spend the money on something else.
Really boring today, I am afraid.
Oh and a friend wants me to recommend her for a sky package and I wondered
if there is any thread here which might be helpful as she wants the lower packages.
Now tell me you don't wish you had not started this thread.:p:D
Now to go and officially make a 'thank you' or thread.0 -
