Shellsuit, what's happened? XXX
It's pathetic really.
Daughter school break up this Thursday, instead of last Friday like all other schools.
DD was off yesterday with a bad tum, so she goes off to school this morning and at the gates, one of the boys in her class said to DD and another girl that they were skivers. The other girl asked DD what a skiver was, so DD said it means bunking off. The girl got upset, went to her Mum and told her that DD had said it to her?? (how does that make sense anyway seeing as DD was off too as that would make her a skiver too!)
The Mum walked up to DD and said to her
"Oi Missy, X didn't skive yesterday, got it??"
DD got confused cos she didn't know what was going on, went into school and burst out crying.
Thing is, I know the Mum and I know from what she said that she was being arrrsy and nasty about it, BUT we get on when we see each other, so you can bet she wouldn't have said anything had I been there.
I rang the school cos DD came home and got all upset about it again, so the teacher is going to have a word with the head.
!!!!!! if you have a problem with a child, go to the school or speak to the parent, DON'T bloody have a pop at the child!
I'm sitting here now thinking, so what if she did say it anyway, it's pathetic, the girls are always b!tching about each other anyway, one day they hate each other and the next day they are best friends, that's why I never get involved, but this has really annoyed me!
They are 11 BTW.
Rant over......and breathe.....Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Silly woman... I'd have a quiet word with her and tell her what actually happened and then ask her to appologise to your daughter because it really upset her... but I'm a nasty person like thatDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Oh, random thing I meant to say earlier..
The latest stupid comment I've received from the woman at work who used to comment on my eating.. "Oh, I think you're doing really well, you know!". I asked what she meant and turns out she was talking about how well I'm "coping" with working full-time and not getting really tired..
I'm hardly in a strenuous job but nor do I have the energy to run a marathon at the end of each day either! I have noone else to run around after and my OH runs around after me way more than I ought to ask him too! How she can think I have it tough and expect me to be snoozing at my desk is beyond me..
Honestly, I was just starting to think she'd got the message about not commenting on my eating and now she starts on this. I did notice her looked at me a lot during lunch (we were in a room with three others) - she must have been trying to suss out how tired I was or something! :mad:0 -
some mothers shells id dont get involved in zoes little mini arguement as they're kids its he said she said...
best the mothers a chav :rotfl: xStill searching .....:)

Oh shell !!
I would say to the mother if you know here well enough that she should check her precious little girl is telling the truth before mouthing off to an innocent 11 year old !!!
That would pi$$ me right off !!!
Want another mother to be annoyed with ?? My DD came home from her friends house this evening soaking wet (it had been raing all day but not tonight)
I asked her what happened and she said that her and her friend were outside on the trampoline !!!
Now would you allow someone elses child who you know has asthma and goes to hospital everytime she gets a cold in her chest as she cant breath properly go on a soaking wet tramploine ???? They are 6 BTW so I am fairly sure the mum knew what they were atThe two best things I have done with my life
