Elle, if it helps someone said to me last week "Oh I think you're so brave". When I looked flummoxed and said "eh?", she replied "to be having a third. You must be exhausted"

To be fair, I am absolutely shattered by the end of every day, but I didn't think it was that obvious!

still on that note, I am off to bed to catch up on beauty sleep. Will be back in the morning to check on feelie.

The world of parenthood is a bumpy one, unfortunatly there are always parents who react to what their child says without the logical process of thinking, now in what context was this said or by simply not ever believing that their little johnny could ever tell a porkie or exaggerate on a situation. My DS who's 5 is always saying a friend was horrible to him but I know he sees things a little differently to me so I listen then move on. Anyhow, the point, I avoid these parents and would never count anyone of them as a friend as it's to hard work. Yes she was very wrong but the school won't be able to do anything, rubbish I know but she is just not worth it.

Silly woman... I'd have a quiet word with her and tell her what actually happened and then ask her to appologise to your daughter because it really upset her... but I'm a nasty person like that :)

She's not the type to have a quiet word with if you know what I mean lol!

I don't go to the school as it's only at the bottom of the road, so I don't want to go down with DD tomorrow because it will look like I'm kicking off.

I won't stoop to her level so I'll just see if the head says anything to her.

    Oh shell !!
I would say to the mother if you know here well enough that she should check her precious little girl is telling the truth before mouthing off to an innocent 11 year old !!!
That would pi$$ me right off !!!

Want another mother to be annoyed with ?? My DD came home from her friends house this evening soaking wet (it had been raing all day but not tonight)
I asked her what happened and she said that her and her friend were outside on the trampoline !!!
Now would you allow someone elses child who you know has asthma and goes to hospital everytime she gets a cold in her chest as she cant breath properly go on a soaking wet tramploine ???? They are 6 BTW so I am fairly sure the mum knew what they were at

Oh it's all silly lies like that all the time.

Don't get me wrong, DD can be as b!tchy as the rest of them, but it's not for me to pull another child up, that's just bang out of order. ESPECIALLY at the school gates in front of other kids and parents!

Regarding your daughter, Why didn't that silly Mum dry her off or give her some dry clothes to put on, or better still, keep them off the trampoline??

Honestly, some people just don't have a brain!

Tine, Tine, Tine.. found something for you! - http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product-capria-bouncer-disney/4493717/type-i/ :D (okay, it presented itself in the email I've just got, but I saw it and thought of you! :p)

ETA: OH likes the colour of this one - http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product-wave-rocking-cradle-raspberrygrape/459190500/type-i/.

Am I right in thinking they should lie flat (like the second one) for baby to snooze in it for any length of time?

Ok i wasn't going to do a big post but I can't resist!
ticklepenny - thanks for hypno site I shall DL the track - will make a change from my usual hypno thingy I use to get to sleep:D
Glam - whatever you do do NOT listen to hypno stuff in the car it is VERY dangerous to do so!! (all of the ones I've heard clearly state not to listen to them when driving .. or operating heavy machinery :p)
Krystal - not like you to let that go on, are you feeling ok?? I would have expected you to say "OK 3 of you need to P off":rotfl:

Sami, if you come back tonight.. I hope you don't mind, but I've just been telling OH what you posted last night. He insists I tell you we have a spare room and asks you if you have cake making skills.. I assume that's my cue to make muffins!
I got the skills to pay those bills  Tell him its most appreciated :D what an angel!! (I don't think I'd make it all the way over to you tho :o) My Mum n dad have double and single spare rooms so I'd be there and if I wanted to get away from here I'd go to my sis's but I could pop over for the day If I went to my sis's :D xx
You don't need any frozen vegetables, fresh are far better :p
    ...
frozen are better :p they hold on to their nutrients better when frozen (provided they are frozen quickly like on the birdseye advert)

I msg'd her on FB and no reply so will txt her 2mo :D

also ladies Creams don't really prevent stretch marks, they are almost completely caused by your genes.
That 'fake' bio-oil has I think not one single ingredient in common with bio-oil when I read the ingredients so I personally avoided it, Bio-oil is the only lotion/potion that has been proven to reduce scarring so I reckon that's the best bet if you already have any marks.

ooh you brought up IVF *gets ready to duck for cover* I don't agree with it:o
I know I may have felt differently if I was unable to get preg naturally but harsh as this is I think its unnatural :silenced: this is why I usually will not get involved in any discussions on the subject - I don't like people having a go at me for my opinions :A

ok so quick run down, things are better with OH obv not all sorted as can't just click fingers and fix everything but so far so good :)
Wasn't my fave MW today but was a nice one:T
I told her I always feint hence having my mummy with me and she really looked after me, just did BP then I lay down for almost all of the rest of app :D she took my blood then so I had plenty of time to recover while she felt tum, measured bump and listened to him.
I'm still measuring 1cm less than 'perfect' which is fine by moi, I'm only a titch and I know this bubs is skinny like his big bro so its to be expected :D
MW also filled in the form to "request a home confinement" AKA a homebirth :T my next app is in 2week and at home how exciting!
I asked if I could have Meptid at HB (not avail from all PCTs but is at my hosp) she said yes it is, apparently I'll get an app at consultant clinic for 37wks where I'll get script for meptid and an anti-sickness drug that they give routinely with meptid here.
I had protein in my wee so as we were sending blood of she said we might as well tip it into a pot with crystals for the lab to check as well she said it could be related to thrush. I have had a few UTIs in the past and I knew about it  so I don't think I have one now coz no pain or excessive need to wee.
My arm is really sore from only 2 little tubes of blood being taken tho :(
Right off to bed I go why I'm still up at this time I really don't know!!!
