    Oooh the pain!

Stuck a pad on, no more leakage, so probably just one of the other fluids pregnancy seems to make appear. Shall keep an eye on it, was only a small leak.

Pain is pretty bad, combination of tightness, period like cramps at the bottom and radiating to my back. Had a bath, which helped a little but not that much!

Cut OHs hair, made the house acceptable to visitors (some things you don't want helpful parents to find!) and am now cooking roast sweet potato and chicken. I'm ready now, so if it is 'something', its alright. Apart from the carseat, but Halfords is open from 9am till 8pm tomorrow.

I said I wouldn't panic at every twinge, and what am I doing, panicking at every twinge!

Sorry for being so self absorbed.

oh I missed the leakage! How exciting! You are allowed to panic at every twinge you know, just not too much ;) Now, drink plenty, take a deep breath at the start of the pain and think happy thoughts :D

    Go Feelie!

Oh, Fitzio didn't realise you were so close to us 22nd girls!

God, people make me laugh - I know we've done the benefits thing already but jeez - someone on the IVF thread just had this to say about me

I sincerly hope that the "credit Crunch" doesn't affect your job,but if it does I hope that you can swallow your pride and "depend" on someone else, even if its only for the sake of your child !!!!

Why do so many people indirectly wish for the credit crunch to affect you! I'm being penalised for saying I would rather earn my own money than rely on benefits and that I don't depend on anyone!

I don't disagree with IVF either - just that they feel they should get priority when in the county in question the funding is already extreemly short (I would know - I live here! and my neighbours are both nurses so I see if both from a patient POV and theirs... they are already short of nurses and there are loads of cancer drugs that the trust won't use due to cost...) and they feel that they should get thousands of pounds of treatment for something that won't even guarantee they concieve when people are needing drugs that we can't afford to keep them alive?
    Nope don't think so!
Sorry Glam I'm ranting with ya! :D

Mrs T - lucky you, you get pregnant easily, so you have your own perspective.

Most people who conceive without difficulty would agree with you - but your perspective would change if you had spent years trying and failing to conceive.

When your heart is literally breaking because you want a child more than life itself, it's as much a health crisis as anything else.

And the choice isn't exactly cancern treatment v. IVF, is it?

After all, the NHS funds bunion operations, ear pinning, varicose veins - hardly life or death either?

Elle, absolutely a fan of dominos cookies, they're yummy yum yum! My only gripe is that they don't come with ice cream... Like Pizza huts cookie dough...

Squishy, get sharing that cinamon waffle icecream! I asked hubby to pick some more up yesterday and he had the indecency to come home with strawberry yoghurt delice... Whats all that about?! I made my displeasure known... Whilst I ate it...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sami, if you come back tonight.. I hope you don't mind, but I've just been telling OH what you posted last night. He insists I tell you we have a spare room and asks you if you have cake making skills.. I assume that's my cue to make muffins!

I don't know. How many years of 'trying' qualifies someone as someone who struggles to concieve? Wasn't long after my wedding that we stopped using contraception, and although we didn't 'try' religiously (didn't chart temperatures, just monitored ovulation on some cycles), it took almost 4 years.

I wonder how much of my depression was 'baby' related. Either a lot of it was, or these hormones are just wonderful. I don't doubt how awful it is, but compared to some things, it isn't life-threatening and is quite manageable.
