I'll be one of the first to get my P60 (as everyone's will land on my desk within the next week!) so I'll put the figures in then let you know what it comes out with :)(hope noone sees it as boasting.. I know it's a decent amount but trust me we have £30k of debt between us so it's not a life of ultimate luxury by any means! :o)

On baby moving - I remember posting on here when I though I first felt flutterings, but I was doubting myselft at the time. Yesterday I saw baby kicking - my belly moved. OH got to see it tonight :D I'm 22+6

I got told off when I posted on here that I felt my baby kick at 10 weeks ;). Despite the disbelief though, he or she has continued to kick regularly ever since, and both I and my OH can feel the movements from the outside of my belly now at 14 weeks. Sometimes the kicks are so strong and take me so much by surprise that I actually flinch! I'm guessing that the baby must be at the front of my tummy and that the placenta is well out of the way.

I bought this top on Saturday and my mum said it made me look much bigger than I usually did! ;)

    That's nice

I wanted to look big as I was seeing people from OH's work and wanted it to look real - weird I know.
I wore this to work today and everyone said I def looked pg

I'll be 25+3 when I see midwife next - is she likely to have a feel / poke about? (of my bump, I mean).. :)
Elle My MW palpitates??? my bump and uses the doppler at every app :j(since 20ish wks)
She's not actually one of 'my' MWs tho :( not sure how long I have her, think she's covering someone's mat leave/long hols.. I love her she calls me "sweets" :D I've got my one and only blood taking app 2mo  Mummy coming with me though *phew*
I always think people make it up !!!
I can tell you I am being kicked or thumped, but as to which it is at which time, that will never happen !!!
But then I have extra padding at the front aswell as bubs, so its a bit harder to tell !!!! lol
Me too, I have no 'padding' but all I know is is it is a limb or bum/head

Elle - I feel his nose I think when he spins round and that is sort of level with the top of my bikini line and arms/legs all over my bump  he is head down now has been for a few weeks I think he's got comfy and will stay there until he pops out to say hello!

    I think i worked out i'd get £20 a week tax credits and £20 a week child benefit :D
Cause me and OH both work full time our combined income is £23,500 ish. And it seems alot, so how come we're always skint? :rotfl:
But becuase of that we wont get any help, or very little. Until i go to uni.
    x x
I don't work but OH earns just under £24k (i think) and we get over £500 a month combined in WTC and CTC, think this will increase with 2nd baby?? then there is no way I'll ever be able to consider goin back to work coz we would be worse off:rolleyes:
Elle I think Bio-oil is still cheaper from wilko's than 3 4 2 in boots (maths not working today) its £4.99 in wilko's for the bottle that is £8.99 in boots

Blomming 'eck took me sooooooooo long to catch up!!! will do another post in a sec explaining my day :(:cry::eek:

I think it was just a little hard to believe at first even for those who had already had little ones but you know what you can feel. It is amazing ur OH can feel it as well now even at 14 weeks - you're little one must have strong legs!!
I want OH to be able to feel bean though - makes it more real for him as well. He might starting talking to bean then as well instead of giving me funny looks for doing it!!

Yes thanks. Lovely friend who does all our DIY came round first thing Saturday morning and put in a new pane of glass for us.

The police phoned me about it tonight, and said that they had had dozens of reports of windows being put through over the last 6 weeks - far far more than usual. They think it is a gang of youths out having jollies. As there were no witnesses though there's not much they can do other than to give us a crime reference no for insurance purposes. I suspect it will have cost less than my excess to have it fixed though, or at worst only a tiny bit more (still waiting to here how much he wants for the job) so we probably won't bother.
