Agggghhhhh, I need this baby out like yesterday!
I am in so much pain it is beyond belief, I am seriously dreading what it will be like when proper contractions start, I'm only getting BH's but it's making me cry.
I'm so confused as to why I'm suffering so badly, it's not my scar tearing and surely stretching shouldnt be that painful?
I dont even want to phone the hospital as they wont do anything, i've dosed myself up on cocodamol but it hasnt helped.
It's not just the BH's though, it's everything, walking, weeing, pooing, coughing, bloody breathing! everything I do is excrutiatingly painful, I have had barely any sleep.
OH is really poorly too, he's been burning up, lower back is really hurting him, he hasnt eaten since friday, and thats so not like him, I was going to call an ambulance in the night because he was a bit delirious, but i think he was just sleep talking, so i made him an appointment at the doctors, he's never ill.
What a great start to the easter hols for Aston.
I just hope my pain eases up because I cant go through this for another week and a half
*cries*:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium are all good for cramp and fine in preg
(you'll prob find they are all in ur preg multi-vit if you took one) so I think cramp is linked to RLS so would make sense these would prob help
OH is with his mummy  he took his van back to work this morning coz he needed it over weekend but is off this week so walked to his mums from work and she's bringing him back ...eventuallyat least I've told him to bring her dyson here with him so we can hoover as our's id broken and we're making do with a £30 cylindar one that only pics up the crumbs on the surface, no actual muck *humpfff*

I was sick with both pregnancys constantly until I was 20 weeks gone. It was awful and I nearly had to be admitted to hospital from the lack of food and because I was so sick. You just need to rest and eat little and often.0

Aw! Really feel for you! I had bad morning sickness with my little one! They say banana'a can be quite good and weirdly enough I found juice good as it gave me enough energy to eat something. Peppermint tea helped, and polo's, and also coca cola as a real last resort (i hate it and never drink fizzy drinks/ caffeine usually!)! They suggest anything with ginger in- biscuits/ ginger ale/ ginger beer etc, dry biscuits, toast etc. But I found it was trial and error really and none of the 'good' stuff helped me. I was pg in the winter so found a walk in the cold air really helped but now it's getting hot might make it worse! Just thought I'd throw in a few idea's HTH.0

*cries*I'm sure you shouldn't be suffering this much, could you call your consultant or MW? maybe if they knew how much pain ur in they would decide its better to get the little monkey out before he causes any more trouble :undecided

Thanks but I think this one is staying put for a while longer - no pains no braxton hicks no nothing!! I would not be surprised if I end up being induced as I am convinced my first due date of 15th was pretty accurate.
Anyone know what will happen at my 40 week appointment as I didnt make it that far last time. I am assuming thay wont leave it two weeks to see me again as that is what normally happens.0 -
I ate rich tea biscuits, although they say ginger is better.
Also, second the idea about seabands. They really did work.
Hope it stops soon, it really is horrible.0 -
Morning girls. Will read back and catch up later when I have time. Off to the midwife soon. I can’t remember if she told me to bring a urine sample with me, any ideas? This is my second appointment at 17 weeks. Would she need that for anything?
Sugarspun – sorry to hear your sad news.
Daisychain – congratulations and welcome.
Krystal – I like Gabriel even though everyone else has gone for Dexter!
AM – hope your pain eases soon!
DH decided to finish our bathroom yesterday which he has been tiling for around 1 year (!!!) when I went to work for some overtime and came home to find that a basic bit of plumbing had turned into a disaster and my ceiling was on my living room floor with dirty water pouring everywhere! Managed to rescue the suite as it’s leather, but the smell of the stale water is horrible! Ah well. Just hope that the insurance company will give us a new carpet as we need one anyway. However, we have no heating or water at the moment except for the shower thankfully.
Apparently it wasn't DH or dad's fault though - the people who lived here before us had obviously had some problems with it as there were marks on the ceiling, exactly where the water came through. And a piece of pipe was connected wrongly. Or so they tell me!

Morning Fitzio - you should take a urine sample to every appointment as they need to check for glucose and protein. How exciting I believe this should be the appointment where you get to hear the heartbeat for the first time.0
