try googling pregnancy sickness support - its a charity but run by a doctor and they have some good ideas which helped me last year while I was pregnant with a 10lb baby girl. I can't post links yet. Good luck with your pregnancy.

For those who are 31wks plus and have had a fairly trouble / pain free pregnancy so far (anyone left?!), would you consider driving three hours inc on M1? (so plenty of opps for stops at service stations).

I'm just contemplating train or driving to the Baby Show in May...

    Thanks!
I drove to Scotland and back and was fine considering i had the trots, spd and have suffered with lowe back probs for a long while anyway.
Well I didnt actually drive the car, only got as far as watford and got OH to drive but you see what I mean lol

Iron - no chance. I'm already constipated to hell without taking more iron

Water - I have enough

I'm just gonna have to suffer *sob sob sniff sniff*

I know! I'll ask Steve to twist my nipples really hard - then I'll focus on the pain of that rather than my horrible bionic legs
i think my nan takes magnesium supplements, i could be wrong and it could be not advisable but hey ho!

its my first day on my own with seth today, OH went back to work this morning in a foul mood which was a joy! its the first day seth hasnt gone to sleep after his first feed and of course everything has gone wrong, i dropped a fairy tablet on the floor and it crumbled everywhere, i've run out of cereal and bread so nothing for breakfast, had a uber quick mad dash of a shower and the door didnt seal properly so theres water eeeeverywhere! good job i can laugh about it!! :rotfl:

ETA: OH has just called to say he is on his way home cos he wasnt due back at work til tomorrow  so the mess can wallow in itself for another half hour and then he can do it for me :rotfl::T

    Hi
I feel for you as I'm in exact same position and it is such a desparate situation to be in. The constant nibbling is the way to go I'm told. Also, Ginger biscuits, tea or peppermint tea seem to help and there is lots of info available on the web. I seem to enjoy lolly ices, brief respite!

I don't know if you work but if you are feeling that bad and driving is an issue then go see your GP as they may be able to sign you off. I've never been signed off in my life from work but when my GP said it would be best for me (I've just started 2 weeks signed off which will take me to 12 weeks pgnt), I could have cried with thanks.

Hope you find something that works for you. I know it won't help but you aren't alone.

    Take care

Well only 2 days until due date. Have arranged that if go into labour mon or wed daytime my parents will have DS2. If it happens tues or thursday daytime or any evening OHs mum will have DS2. If it happens over the Bank Holiday weekend my sister will probably have him as my parents are away and OHs mum doesnt yet know what shifts she will be doing. So after all this worrying it looks like we will have somebody each day to look after him. Although I am nervous about leaving him as none of them have ever looked after him before.

I have antenatal on wednesday which I was hoping I wouldnt make but it looks like I will. I have just reached the point in the pregnancy when everyone asks "havent you had that yet!!"
Sending you much labour vibes hun xx

When I was pregnant I used seabands which put pressure on a point on your wrist.

They worked well for me & if I had to take them off for a shower I started to feel sick again.

Once I had them I was never sick again.
