Surely the top of your symphysis pubis is not 'right above your clit' as you so eloquently put it sami lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Ahh Tine :A I think Glad must have had it on her to do list and not realised you'd got there first
Can I suggest your OH sets up a SO for his £100 to you? I know if he banks barclays he could have set it up from the start to pay x amount every month/week/certain date etc and specify an end date which would have been most sensible ;)

well u know what I mean.. :p have a peek at that link. I was just wondering if u were going far enough down there (sorry I'm really not thinking about ur lady bits honest!) not that I think the measurement actually matters that much tho!

I measured from where the other midwife measured me the previous 2 times... Like I said, the midwife on Tues went so low I thought I was getting an internal... I also think baby was sticking it's bum up... I just found this: In summary, the fundal height is an antiquated and sometimes obsolete method of judging the appropriate growth of the baby during a pregnancy. and completely agree!

ETA: It's laughable really.. Just exploring the link you gave me Sami and it says this:
Good communication is essential, and one message, which can be quite frightening to a mother, is that she is having a big baby. It is therefore appropriate to reassure the mother and repeat the fundal height measurement 2 to 3 weeks later. Ultrasound is notoriously poor at predicting the weight of big babies, a calming reassuring approach is very important.

Might print it off and give it to the midwife next time I have the misfortune to see her...

I'm just stressing about it for no particular reason hun - it's only to go into the savings fund but it's just that today for some reason it's annoying me! Not helped by him working from home and as a result he's still in bed! lazy so and so!
I need to check his money status when he gets up as if he's going to be short this month (can't see how... but still!) then it can wait. He was supposed to set up a standing order but he forgets... he gets so used to me sorting everything financial at home bless him :)
