well, what and eventful half hour(for me anyway) cooked potatos, carrots, onions and sausages ready for dinner. Have got a really bad back today, so decided to take some painkillers, get the packet out and slice my finger on the foil!!! Get the first aid box and lay it on DD's bed(she wanted to leave it up today), feel something wet, and the seat is wet where she had and accident last night and it has gone through the sheet I use for her(she said it wasn't wet), have sponge cleaned it with some travel wash and left it in the awning to dry, does anyone else have any ideas how to clean it and deoderise it. She had an accident a couple of weeks ago and when in bed you can still smelL it. I have some of tesco's own febreeze type spray, is that safe to use on the caravan seats??????
Bit of a ramble there sorry!!
Thriftykate, don't think it was a special offer, the price was on a normal ticket, it's tesco's own make and its a 3.3L size, not sure if thats big enough for you?0 -
LIVING ROOM, HALL & STAIRS - DONE! :j
KITCHEN & DINING ROOM - DONE! :T
The girls and I are going bowling with DD2's club this evening which should be good. Haven't been bowling for years!
Had another argument with my husband today which has given me a real headache . We are separated because of his behaviour but he still thinks he can tell me what to do and rule what little life I have left :mad::mad:
I don't think things will ever improve.0 -
Froddy ~ thanks for the half hour, took a bit longer as finished the ironing, put it away and had a re-arrange of the airing cupboard

ThriftyKatie ~ :j on your first star.
Witchypoo ~ you make your own soap, that's impressive, I had no idea you could make soap in a slow cooker!
Well off to start on the dinner, will post my list later tonight.0 -
Magnificent Monday - done - star please

Wendywitch - will get better honest. Been there and was horrible for a while but my attitude changed and it didn't bother me any more (sort of closed my ears) Chin up - he's not worth it!
Right that's it for now - off to do my Market Research and then take DD to meet her uni friends. I have said I will pick her up at 1am (she has work tomorrow so quicker than the night bus) so am going to use the time to do some decluttering. I have left it on the floor now ready - piles and piles of it eek
But if I do that I will be able to finish the living room tomorrow and get another star - I didn't realise how much those stars would motivate me - now know why the children at school like their housepoints :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Rosepink yes we did notice you were missing... DD has a friend who she has known since she was about 3 and at playgroup. She goes to Jiu Jitsu with this friend and her brother who's a year older. These two kids spend 50/50 at each parents...so when they are at mum's mum, or mum's husband, takes them and DD to Jiu Jitsu; and I bring them all back usually; when they are at dads he takes them - sometimes I bring them back; usually he does. This time they were at their mums and as their dad couldn't do the run (other plans as he's off work) and their stepdad couldn't take them (shoulder in sling following operation) I took them Thus building me some credit which I will no doubt need one day...
Nicki glad you're getting better and congrats. You too were missed
Have flown like mad at work; all displays down, cupboards tidy, gibble deviously relocated (sshhh) - sometimes you need to 'settle in' to a room before you can change how you 'use' and 'arrange' it IYSWIM...so am feeling MUCH happier about it all now.
And my partner treated me to lunch and bought me some handmade choccys for Easter! (Cos I do all the typing I think...) and I found a creme egg - they had an Easter Egg hunt and 26 kids DID NOT find this one! Tea towels brought home to wash tonight.
Came home, brought in washing and ironed it! Phoned sis DD staying at hers another night:D;)
Now just having a :coffee: then off to see my (step)dad and wish him Happy Birthday...

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Gardening's going well. My potatoes are coming up and the carrots I planted out a couple of weeks or so ago. Peas are beginning to sprout. Have just put down some garlic bulbs in one of the beds rather than a pot. Also sown some more carrot seeds and had a general tidy up.
Am about to pot up the 'erbs I bought the other day
Then I will have a G&T in the last of the evening sun before it goes behind next door.
Then I will finish the kitchen and get today's star.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots can I have two stars please honey :rotfl: I didn't even realise I had finished both rooms until I went to tick the list..it's amazing how easy it can be done when you aren't really thinking about it

Congratulations on passing your NVQ nicki
I've been sitting here reading my library book with the delicious smell of Black Cherry Yankee Candle wafting around the living room and a nice :coffee:
I've also been drooling over my order from YankeeDoodle that arrived this morning, even though I only placed it yesterday afternoon..talk about efficient service:j I am trying out their new beenswax candles-there more eco friendly!! I treated myself to "Wash Day, Silvery Moon and Homemade Cake"..mm the wash day one smells adorable and just like freshly laundered washing.

my day just keeps getting better, went to check on dinner in the oven and when I turned the hob off, I must have turned he oven off as well, so dinner not ready yet!!!
Back and side still really painful, I'm ok when in a position(sitting, standing, walking), but getting from one to another is horrendously painful. Will have a lokky on the NHS websit but guessing it's a pulled muscle somewhere0 -
