Tuesday twinkles! - Living room, hall and stair's DONE :D

Also 2 loads of washing done.

Haven't caught up with the thread yet but will later on. Dinner over so time to crack on with the kitchen. Back later to update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Lunch time for me :D

My kitchen is worse than I thought. Whats that saying about hiding stuff behind closed doors? :o I've just discovered mildew in my mugs/glasses cupboard  So thats been given a really good clean out as will the rest of the upper cupboards since I've got the stepladders out anyway. Next job is to tackle the two food/drink cupboards, including making an inventory. I have loads of stuff in there..speaking of which, I used to eat Muesli for breakfast but added extra dried fruit, but I've basically stopped eating muesli now ...
ANYONE have any ideas of what to do with loads of dried fruit? :o

    Right, list update....

Toochoosy - what a bargain! Is that a special offer I'll be able to find in my Tesco? The knob on my slow cooker broke and I really miss it. Would love to get another one..

Sunnygirl - agree with you about the threading. I love it and lasts for ages. Is that London Selfridges? Seems a bargain - I get it done at House of Fraser and it costs £14. Think it's 6 then one free though - will have to do the maths...

Wonderful Wednesday - Kitchen and dining room - All done
First star please - very excited
(going to try and get all my stars this week but better make the most of it as once back at school not going to be so easy - although assume I can play catch up on a weekend and still get stars for that week?

Just got to hoover upstairs and then can get another one. Living room not going to be so easy though due to the major declutter task.

Also got to do some research on internet savings accounts - got a Market Research group this evening (not had one for ages and £50 for hour and half so well worth it).

Hope everyone having a productive day - sun is still shining here and blue sky so that always helps.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Done a bit at least. I settled down to do my HHC earlier and intended to tidy the Living room and then move on, but I put Jeremy Kyle on while tidied and ended up staying for a bit of This Morning and then going on Animal Crossing on Wii... Oh well needs doing hehehe.
I'm going to get the mop out in a minute, and hopefully also wash the inside of the Living room window.
Cauliflower Cheese for dinner :heartpuls which I haven't had for ages! I picked up a lovely fat Organic one half price in the reduced section at ASDA yesterday :)
nicki all I can think of are puddingy type things, like a nice steamed pudding mmm but thats probably cos I really fancy some comfort food. I add raisins to my porridge (which I make with water) and cook them in it in either the microwave or the pan, and then add a splosh of cold milk.
Also I have a recipe for raw chocolate 'brownies' made with prunes or dates and nuts. I would be interested to see if anyone else has any offerings, as I have a few dried figs left. Fig rolls maybe? LOL

Oo I also spent lunchtime making soap in my slow cooker :) Was running low so I bought some pure Coconut Oil on Monday in readiness and picked up some more Lye yesterday. Hurrah :)

DS3 room all clean, he has tried on all the clothes in his wardrobe, just a small chest to do but he is not in the mood - he is lying on his bed now reading a book as is DS2. Huge bag of clothes for friend and one for the charity shop too. Need to go in the loft later and see what I can find to fit him before hitting the shops.
