Hello! Have you missed me? Our internet connection went down on Monday afternoon and we haven’t been able to get on here until now! I’ve got about 20 pages to catch up! Have read a couple while having lunch so here’s a few hellos -
Well done Pigpen on your debt, not long to go now! I was really frustrated that I couldn’t get on here again as I’d remembered that DS, GF and Jacob were leaving and I wanted to send my best wishes to you all. Hope you are doing ok without them.
Valli, I think I missed who the children are that you were looking after, but their life sounds very complicated!
ZCC, have your sorted out your cheeky blighter neighbours? Hope so, they sound out of order!
FFPrincess, how are you and all the family? Hope DH is ok. Have you managed to do any walking? I expect you’ve been too busy!
I expect all this has been answered – I will go and find out!
I’ve not really done much flying yesterday or today. Yesterday I had a veeeeeeery busy and tiring (but great) day, and today I’ve been to work and hope to do some stuff round the place later. The first lady we went to had been ill in the night and I had to spend half an hour scrubbing her bedroom and bathroom carpets, change the bedding etc! I think I should get a star just for that! (shudders at the memory - was looking for a smilie holding it's nose but can't find one!)
Ok, back to start reading page 12 now!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I meant to say how envious I was about the green waste Dusty, I wish I could do that.
Soappie - I buy all my meat from a local butchers who hangs it for 28 days but is roughly the same price as Tescos, if I ring tomorrow and order it for Saturday he will do me a double rib for roasting which will feed us all, plus he will save me the sirloin bones for stock. Best sausages and mince ever too. and home cured bacon. Dribbles quietly.
HHC 2.30 - 3.00 anyone? I really must do something about the kitchen where I cant hear the whinging 6yo. Kick for fedupandskint - join me at 2.30 then!
Whole chickens are half price in the Co-op for anyone who has one. A large Elmwood one was £2.50 today - on offer till Sunday I think.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Pigpen, really pleased you will be able to see Jacob et all, and that you feel better about them being away. Why have they gone? (ignore that if it’s too nosy)
Hugs to Kazmeister and DH – hope he is soon back at work earning the overtime!
Congratulations Mummy2mygirls on the birth of your lovely new daughter – you won’t need to change your username now!
FFP, I know what you mean about the flowers, they won’t let them into the local hospital here either. It’s annoying, I think they brighten up the ward! And it shows the patient how much you love them!
Hex, hope the training course went well. I’ve been on loads lately and really admire the ‘facilitator’ as they have to keep us all interested all day. I bet you were great!
I've just finished p.16, got to go and have a nap now as am supposed to be going out tonight. why does everything always happen at once? Anyway, I'm going to check out the lists and see if I can do anything on them. Definately need to do something about the LR, my support worker is coming tomorrow and she can hardly get in the front door never mind some carpet to stand on or a seat to sit on! So I think that will be my priority this afternoon.
Also it's getting hard to see the TV cos there is so much dust on it!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I should be able to get there with my mother to see them all but he'll have to pick up the children so that might make it more complex as her is being an !!!!.
They have gone because GF's mother is an alcoholic, druggie scumbag and was the crappiest parent you could imagine... why this would impact on gf's ability to parent is beyond all of us except for the hateful SW she has been lumbered with..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Afternoon all
Managed to get DS2 room all done before the ebay collector who was over an hour late but very pleasant. DS2 came with me, he is a lovely child and likes to come with me places. Nan had a hidey hole - one of those 'safe' things which looks like a plug socket. DS2 didn't know so I showed him it and he was so amazed he kept openning it.
Found a couple more pictures in broken frames which Nan had stashed behind the wardrobes - one of me as a baby so I'll sort the frame and put it up with my kids portrait ones on the landing.
DS2 and DS3 both eaten lunch (chippy chips as a treat as there is a chippy right by nan's) and are now outside playing footie, the magic of pain relief and anit H's.
DS1 is actually revising in his lovely tidy clean bedroom. Just getting a cold drink and then going to finish DS3 bedroom.
Nicki - well done on passing your NVQ I know you worked really hard, hope you feel better soon
Lovely drying day here - towels already done and now DS2 curtains on the line, might put another wash on of the cat bedsThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Nice to see you back nicki and liuhut. Congratulations on passing the NVQ and on the move to Oz respectively.
I've still got loads of washing up to do before I can properly do the kitchen list - the draining rack is full up, so will have to dry that up before I do any more.
Does anyone want to join me in a HHC 3.10-3.40? Good for those lacking the motivation (hint hint).

I have cleared a hotspot in the DR, and one in the kitchen. Cleaned the downstairs loo. Just need to put the sorted washing away and the DR is done. Kitchen may take a little more effort. Is it wine o clock yet? Boys (and me) are tired from a full day yesterday - they hadn't been in for in full days childcare for 15 months or so. Bicker, bicker, whinge, whinge is the result.
Sexymouse, I will join you and see if I can get todays list finished.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
