I know the answer to this as I am now addicted to Kim and Aggie!!!!
They used lemon juice cos it had a nicer smell than vinegar, and they just splashed it on and wiped it with a paper towel/kitchen roll and then buffed it up with some newpaper!!!
Im going to try it on my patio doors, as i never seem to be able to get them streak-free......
xx
I just watched Kim and Aggie yesterday (inspired me to get back on here!) and have in fact ordered their book on Amazon - hoping it will be money saving as the money I pay for the book will be offset by the money I save on cleaning products - and I will want to stay in more to enjoy my very clean and tidy house (when it happens :rotfl:)Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Just hung the washing out in the sunshine - don't worry julie, I did wash my hair and get dressed first. lol
Going to have a cup of tea and then make a start on the washing up mountains, as going to the cupboard, I've discovered that we've used nearly every mug in the house!
So, will be starting a HHWU (Half hour wash up) at 12 if anyone wants to join me.

Morning flyers
Again, i'm very unmotivated today. I'm freezing, so i've been very slow so far, and done nothing but eat. I shouldn't really be doing that either as my work suit was tight last week so i need to rectify that. I guess i should start by looking round the house and seeing what i actually think needs to be done. The only thing i know for sure for today is i need to plant some strawberry runners that were delivered on Monday before they die, and i also need to wash my hair at some point before picking up the kids. I'm shattered after my walk to the park (4 mile round trip) yesterday. We made the kids walk one way then my sister went back for her car to pick up the walking kids, and we had to bring back the buggy and DS2. Anyway, i managed to make DS1 walk for about a mile and i carried him the rest while pushing the buggy, so he was shattered last night and this morning. Bless. Hope he doesn't sleep all afternoon today at nursery though.
I noticed a bit of debate about hayfever. The pollen tablets from Troway hall can be bought from medibee.co.uk, and i use these and can recommend them. The OTC remedies were not working for me. These don't 100% either, but are more effective and cheaper too than what i was paying.
Achievements today:- checked internet banking and mortgage account - pleased as i made a £100 overpayment today
- watered all my seedlings and plants
- washed one load of dark clothes
- emptied off one airer - folded clothes on it
- dealt with post
- rang child tax credits to tell them p60 info to hopefully trigger a bigger payment
- emptied dehumidifier
- sorted through pile of paperwork on dining table and have some to recycle and some to file/shred

was thinking just the same!gratefulforhelp wrote: »Why haven't IIIII got a fireman? (stamps foot)
Would certainly brighten my day :cheesy:
I have had a great morning (but now need a rest!)
Thought I could get a star but realise I have done everything in the kitchen (plus a couple of extras) but forgotten about the fridge so will need to do that next.
Am putting off doing the living room (but did the dusting yesterday) as need a MAJOR decluttering and really feel that I should do it now whilst I have the time and still have my 'just started' enthusiasm.
Now if I had a fireman coming round I'm sure I would get decluttered VERY quickly :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts0
