Curtains ironed and back up - they have shrunk - alot. They were too long but now a bit short so hoping they drop a bit. They look lovely and resh though so worth it, will do the living room ones next week.

? Has anybody had curtains dry cleaned? My other two pairs and expensive and not washable - for some reason I don't trust dry cleaning to do anything.

When I had my fire safety check (and new smoke alarms put up) a couple of years or so ago, I had three nice firemen in the house and their engine with a buddy in it parked up outside! :D

G&T consumed in the garden in the sun. I took out a magazine with me and it was really nice and peaceful and not too cold at all. There was one really brave sparrow that went and fed whilst I was there. The other three were a bit nervous and kept hopping from the fence to the laurel bush but weren't brave enough to hop down.

Off to do the kitchen and make chicken soup for tea.

Are firemen allowed to drink on duty then?

Oh, er, ah, I see what you mean... ;):D

Okay, have done everything except cleaning aforementioned refrigerator (subject of executive decision). So are executive decisions allowed? Will Toots confer a star on me? Can I stand the suspense? :j

Then got to take DS's friend home, only a short walk thankfully.

Then a quick S&S of bathroom and ensuite, quick tidy in LR, then relax with a glass of cider and CSI:D.

The two loads of washing dried nicely in the sun which is good! (We got our electric bill last week - new baby in January didn't do much for money saving on electric!)

Also managed to clean the oven and hob, list 2 things on Ebay and go and visit my new nephew (he's teeny!)

OH now home so baby has, of course, gone all angelic and gone to sleep after whinging for the last 1.5 hours! Hopefully should give me a chance to get something else done!
