Quick question when did hospital stop allowing flowers for patients?????
DS1 took Pops a bunch of flowers and the nurses told him that due to bacteria in the water they did not allow them, needless to say that he's gutted. And £3 per night to watch the TV. I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

Big hugs FFP - if I were you, I'd stick the flowers by his bedside anyway and say that as far as you were concerned, the minute risk of bacteria harming a patient from the water in the vase is far less than the risk of MRSA, Norwalk virus etc. because the doctors, nurses and visitors haven't washed their hands properly!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

OH would have left them but nurses sent him out of the ward with them straight away. BIL took flowers last night and Pops said the nurse bined them after visiting hours. They are now on my livingroom window but I would rather they were where they should be. Pops is having a fit no TV, no fags, no drink and he says the bed is uncomfortable, hell mend him. Oh!:rotfl:he asked Auntie to leave him a couple of fags to smoke in the loo she handed him a nicorette inhalator and he went into a blind rage:rotfl:I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
