kazm - I'm going to wander up on Friday (once I've removed the cake mix that's spread thinly across the entire house ), and then will be coming back on Wednesday. I'll PM you sometime before Friday...

Lemon cake now out of the oven... two simnel cakes (well, it's just as much effort to make one as two...) in the oven with the orange cake which is still going...

... how I have vast amounts of sticky stuff everywhere, and lots of washing up. I suppose I'd better get back to it, and start sorting myself out for work tomorrow!

I still need to make a couple of chocolate cakes, some chocolate tiffin and turn some sponges into pastel-coloured houses with chocolate button roof tiles... possibly tomorrow...

... and I need to do two more lots of physio before I got to bed!

I really hope that we raise a decent amount of money again, as I can't face too many more of these cake sales!

Before I crawl into my pit, wow, Emily, that must be lovely to be asked to be someone's birthing partner. I'm actually quite jealous. I've only ever done child birth from the sharp end as it were. Your end will be much easier, believe me! just hold her hand, mop her brow, talk to her and remind her to do the appropriate breathing at the appropriate time.

Thanks for the advice. I'm excited & nervous at the same time. I went to the scan with her & that was really cool. I'm the godmother :j Goodnight
  • I'm back - again:D

I've worked out that I am goodish:D at doing the flying and hopeless at keeping up with the thread, so if it is ok I'm just going to pop in as and when I can. I hate to post and run - not offering support, encouragement and advice where I can - but I just can't keep up, sorry.

    Hope that is ok?

M2MG ~ many congratulations on the birth of your little flybaby. We kept changing the name of our third boy for at least two weeks after he was born...had all those girls names stored up and was unable to use them:D

Well I have discovered an interesting side effect of flying...the more I do the more my husband is encouraged to do as well...this evening he put together the shelving unit for the boys room that has been sitting in the attic for three weeks :j

Of course it's OK... make sure you post what you've done so that Toots can give you your stars as you earn them!

Kitchen wiped... so it's not as sticky as it was. DW is full again... will set it off before I go to bed. Breakfast and lunch packed and ready to go in the morning. Gym bag finally emptied. Just need to decide what to wear to work tomorrow, and make sure that whatever I wear over my swimming stuff in the morning is suitable for walking after work!

A quick hello and hugs all round from me before I leave for work. I've left a list for BF lol, mostly in the garden. I need to finish off my budgetting for this month and finish off March, so thats my job for today. Oh and to finish an essay ;)
