I definitely have a cold, but it's not too bad thankfully!

I've done the washing up and one of Mudbath's '60 in 60' thingys so there may be some hope for achieving the front room list!

Aaarggh - I've just rubbed my eye and managed to flick my contact lens out

Hope you enjoy your coffee morning tomorrow.

Thanks Soappie; I started going to the carer's coffee morning when we moved house. The carer's centre is in town & holds 3 coffee mornings a week but the one tomorow is only a stone's throw from my bungalow so I don't have to pay the bus fare :money: The carer's centre in my town is great; they do everything from giving benefits advice to counselling to providing free pampering treats

Congratulations mummy2mygirls :j:beer:_party_:dance: My friend is expecting her first child, a boy, on 27th April & has asked me to be at the birth :j:eek: I've been going to antenatal classses with her. She's very nervous about the labour, as would I be if it was my 1st. I've not had any kids either so I can only really hold her hand!

Funfairprincess-in my opinion the TV and phone call charges in hospital are a rip-off. As most of you know, my DH has been in hospital many times over the past few years & I could hardly ring him becuase the calls were 39p min off-peak & 49p min on-peak & they charged you that even if no-one answered or the line was engaged

TOOTS - todays list is done.

I've also taken the kids to the park and then round to a friends for the afternoon. By the time we had done that and gone to swimming lessons there was just time for dinner and then bed.

Got an early start in the morning because the carpet is being fitted on the stairs and landing and I've got to take the old one up.

Hugs to everyone. I'm off to bed because I'm shattered.

Grrrr, just lost a post with lots of greetings in...meant to switch tabs but accidentally clicked a favourite on the toolbar instead. d'oh.

    suffice to say:
mummy2mygirls - congrats and lots of love
kaz & michelle - welcome back, lovely to see you both
pigpen - glad to hear they got off ok thanks to your mum. Did my friends package of stuff for Jacob ever get to you? I keep meaning to ask!
toochoosey - have a great week, we had a fantastic time, didn't want to leave (as ever). was mainly in the north of Pembs this week, lots of pints and cream teas, plus a few nice walks! My vodaphone internet wouldn't work in Haverfordwest, no 3G reception there it seems.

Work was ok today, cleared, flagged or filed all the emails which was a start, and had a catch up meeting with my boss over coffee. Very annoyed by an email from someone more senior slapping my wrists, completely unfairly - now wondering whether to pursue it.

right, must do lunches and see if the wm has finished.

Pops is having a fit no TV, no fags, no drink and he says the bed is uncomfortable, hell mend him. Oh!:rotfl:he asked Auntie to leave him a couple of fags to smoke in the loo she handed him a nicorette inhalator and he went into a blind rage:rotfl:

Awww FFP - if anything, that'll make sure he gets himself well enough to leave pretty soon!

Frodders - thanks for the info on the change in channel name. What gets me is whenever I look on the Virgin TV listings site hardly any of the channel names match up to what I see on screen! Hope your cold is just a passing thing...

Toots - love - hope you find enough to flog to pay the decorator!

I have done stiry fry for dinner (beef, rice, red and green peppers, spring onion and cashew nuts in an oyster sauce for those who may be curious). Have done all the hand washing up and loaded the DW with the bits that can cope and have dealt with the cat litter tray. Have also emptied EVERY bin in the house and the recycling basket into the bins outside as it's bin day tomorrow.

I'm feeling quite noble. But also quite tired so I'll say night night all - sleep well

Before I crawl into my pit, wow, Emily, that must be lovely to be asked to be someone's birthing partner. I'm actually quite jealous. I've only ever done child birth from the sharp end as it were. Your end will be much easier, believe me! just hold her hand, mop her brow, talk to her and remind her to do the appropriate breathing at the appropriate time.
