ZCC- I don't think you're being unreasonable.. I'd probably be a bit annoyed until someone sensible (like Valli!) pointed out that it might just be the buiders & not the home owners! I can be too quick to get cross & a few minutes later have to take it all back again!

    Evening all

    Just lost a post, bah!

Menu planning and food shopping done. The rest of the house is still tidy from my marathon cleaning session last week lol.

pigpen - I meant to mention last week - have you got a family railcard? Or could you get a student railcard? I have both as I dont get the discount if DD doesnt travel with me. Just trying to think of how to make your journey cheaper xx

pigpen I am glad you can visit - that will be something to look forward too and you will see such differences in wee jacob too - I hope DS cope with being a Dad - have they sorted out his health problems? Is your Mum back and reported what the place is like?
The time will whizz by if you work on the next time you can visit and not how long it will be until they are back IYSWIM?

DS1 thinks Jacob is amazing so he wil be fine.. it isn't as if he has never seen a baby before!
My mother isn't back yet but she is coming round when she gets home she said.. so I'll know then.. and make plans for when we are going!

Hello Emily :hello: you've done well love. Hope you enjoy your coffee morning tomorrow.

Oh Toots! A bedroom star for today please!

I'm flagging this evening. Because of the Catherine Cookson on the TV last night, I didn't get to bed until 11pm which is too late for me on a school night (i.e. when I have to get up for work the next day) so I'm determined to have an early night tonight.

Have just discovered that on some random cable TV channel called 'Yesterday' (might have been the old UK History one, but I'm not sure!) there's a Who Do you Think You Are repeat on featuring Nigella Lawson. I missed that one so I will sit and watch and enjoy!

We have rain this evening and for some reason, it feels colder than it did when we had all the snow and frost and stuff!

But, now the bedroom's done, and the BM is on, I'm off to rustle up a stir fry for dinner.
