Soappie - sorting through Nan's stuff and I found some documents with my Grandad's signature on (he died in 1992) it is really odd, I've never seen his signature

I still have my grandfather's driving licence; it's a silly thing to keep but it matters to me. He never did a driving-test though - he got his licence before they introduced testing!

Soappie - mince cooking a la Soappie. I brought some reduced muchrooms - best way to cook them please - just bog standard ones and I just want them as a side dish, do I just wash or slice and put in some butter?

Bored of sorting now. Just one corner of the family room to hoover and then I'll check my list and see if there is anything else I could do that would be quick.

First though time to say good evening to Rose.

:mad: i have a lamb roast in the oven and was just about to add some water when the ceramic roasting tin broke into halves

luckily i had some metal ones near by so i rescued the food, cleaned the oven  - and it's back in ... but oh boy - was that necessary?!?!?!?!!?

Not quite the same but I dropped a tin once whilst taking it out of the oven. The joint and roast tatty's had a good roll around the floor. So I rinsed it all under the tap to get any fluffy bits off and slung it all back in the oven:o

Just had a lovely bath without interuptions :j washed my hair and straightened it. Looks very umm straight and less frizzy now.

Still have to vac DD's bed and re make it and then I can have my star for today.

Made some good progress with help from DH who did the stairs. I'm too clumsy so he doesn't let me do them (on this, I'm happy to do as I'm told :rotfl:). Also had nice lunch out, spent 2.5 hours nattering to my friend at hers, brain dumped the stuff I'm going to include in the job application and then did the flying. I've deleted what's done and so what's left remains to be done (perhaps!).

Looks like I need 4 stars please Toots
