We need these looking nice for when the children go back to school so I think it is only fair they help clear up!
    Level One
    [STRIKE]
Clear the floors in the childrens room.. throw out any broken toys and find some that are no longer needed that can be sent to charity shop or given away.
Drag everything out from under the bed too.. there is floor under there!!
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]
    Change the childrens bedding/wash curtains
Vacuum mattress (after turning & wiping any waterproof sheets) and floors
    Wash window
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]
Sort through a clothing cupboard.. anything outgrown?
Put any discs back in cases and books back on shelves etc
Dust.. lightshades, curtain poles, games consoles/PC's etc
    [/STRIKE]
DD1 has thrown away 100 things, pretty good as she's 6.

    Bathroom done
    handbag done
DH done one ebay meet and now at B&Q buying a couple of security lights for the side shed

Going to do lunch now and then make a start on the family room.

Weather closed in so the washing is now on the maiden.

Soappie - I'm particular about packing but am educating the children into how I pack (I actually need the stuff on the conveyor belt in a set order and the kids know it - gee they are being brought up OCD

WM clean wash has now finished and DD's bedding is washing away as we speak.
I've just stuffed a sausage and egg butty, nom nom and am finishing a cup of tea.:D

Next I'm going to chance vacating the puter to finish off DD's bedroom. So I might be back later ( Mr Tag is now watching football so there is a chance I could get back on here) or not:confused:

Toots - I've made some progress on the utility room. At some point I'll be able to get the washing done. I have a feeling it's going to take me a long time to get everything done that I need to (and then do my packing!).

Well done on the decluttering... have a lovely time with your friend, and we'll see you later to hear all about it! Do you need any books to read at the hospital? If so, what kind of things do you read (I have a cunning plan... to declutter my bookshelves, although I suspect that you won't read the same trash that I do...!)

Suppose I should go and do my exercises and make some lunch... and hopefully feel a bit more lively.

Kaz - amazing progress on your list.

Just scoffing lunch and then to start on the family room - it could take some time to even find the floor.

  • Just got a letter through from LO's geneticist - its weird, i know everything thats wrong with her. But because we see a different specialist for each condition i've never seen everything listed together in black and white - its a little scary:o

Did have to google a couple of words that i didnt understand, was reading what Wiki had to say and got all confused because they started talking about animals! Seems some of the things she has are quite common in terriers:rotfl:

    Thank goodness for google eh?

That happened to my aunt about 20 years ago. She got this letter detailing everything that was wrong with my cousin. There was one word that she didnt recognise and was sick with worry about him having something else wrong (he has brain damage, heart condition, cerebal palsy, problems with mobility, double incontinence). Finally the family persuaded her to phone the consultant to find out what it was. Turned out it was the long fancy name for a squint! :rotfl:
