nicki - is it you that has mice? Apparently wiping tea tree oil over the edges of cupboards keeps them out. If it does work, it might be worth you using tea-tree oil as a general disinfectant.
It wasn't me, its my sister Johanne
Apparently they may have solved the problem though... they've filled all the holes up with brilo pads and then plastered over them :rotfl: Or at least thats the last I heard. I'll pass the message on though when I see her on erm... maybe Monday?

Thanks toots for sorting out about the stars! :T
I thought I'd mention here that I desperately need a new cooker. My current one is 15 years old and falling to bits. The grill is a bit of a deathtrap unless you stay with it in case it blows itself out, and the oven door is threatening to fall off. I've been looking for "the perfect one" for weeks now, but nothing ever comes up to my requirements - thought you folk might have seen what I need:
50cm wide, Gas
Double oven preferred (so I can have two ovens on at once as that is what I have currently)
Separate grill in the top oven cavity not an eye level grill as can't stand those - although at a push, maybe!
I'm leaning toward the hotpoint ones, although Belling do some (all gas though) and I need as cheap as possible including connection. It's so frustrating as I will see all I want in an oven then it turns out to be too wide. Oh and a minor thing, I wanted to move away from white and get one in anthracite or black but not a necessity. Sick of the precise cleaning involved in white!
I wanted dual fuel originally so I could have a fan oven as I believe they are quicker to heat - although not sure whether the electric points are still accessible behind my oven till I look, but no dual fuel cookers ever come up in the width size I need.
Any tip-offs would go down a treat! I know you folk are ace at spotting such things.IAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0 -
Right, I'm going to shift myself now. Got way too much to do. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Witchypoo ~ don't have any advice about specific ovens, but I will say that I bought a brown oven about fifteen years ago ( when brown was trendy:o ) and was really dissappointed with how unclean it looks! It's just as bad, if not worse than cleaning white!
Ooh and I bought mine cheap in the co-op because it was a window display one that had some knocks on it...I was surprised how good the co-op was for electrical goods.
Couldn't get on the computer last night as dh was in mega stressed work mode when he finally made it in at 10 pm, his need for unwinding online was greater than mine ( or at least grumpier
)
