I have looked through threads here, but theres just so much i dont now where to start, i wonder if some kind soul could help me.
In 2000 i got a LLoyds current account, in 2002 i got a vantage credit card from them with £2000 on it (i think i had some sore of insurance on it) , in 2003 i got a loan off lloyds and paid the card off (the lan had protection insurance), then in 2006 i got a consoladation loan (£7000 including all interest and insurance) and paid off the second one off (also with insurance, then i got another in 2007 an additional loan of £4000 also with insurance.
So currently i have 2 loans on the go with insurance, but ive also had one other loan and credit card all whith insurance.
The whole of this time i have been on a seasonal contract, and since discovered i probably wouldnt be covered, as of january i have been permanent, so in theory im covered now!!!
Now thing is, i dont have any agreements of statements for any loans or credit cards i have ever had, and also im not sure what i signed, i vaguly remember the guy saying the loan would go through if i got insurance, and i also remember his saying he would put me down as in permanent employment to make it easier, this could be on record, so may screw up my chances.
ANYWAY:o
What should i do first?
I was goind to send one of them data protection request things off with £10 for my records and to see exactly what i signed, is that right?
and is there a template for the letter?
and
for the claim form if i have a claim?
Do you guys rexcken i have a chance?
Thanks you, great site by the way.:D

Hi Gordie
I am sure you have a very good chance.
If you look on the front page of this thread you will see a SAR on the sticky posted by Dreamer 33. Use that and adapt to your needs.. Send 10.00 all by recorded deliver in case they claim they have not received it.
When you get all that lot back (make sure you give them all the account No's if you know them). Then post on here and we will let you know the next step.
Good luck to you.:D:mad:0 -
Thanks for the response.;)
So, if i send off the SAR letter with my current, current account number on it, will they send me all my banking history and loan, credit card agreements automatically, or do i need to add something else to get the loan aggreements?:o0 -
