Got all my stuff through this morning, but nothing what so ever to do with my credit card i had for 6 years until last year, the only mention was in a loan interview where they mentioned it as a reason for a loan.

Loan 1 total loan taken 2005 £3120 (now fully paid) of which £915 is ppi.

Loan 2 total taken 2006 £11,000 (still paying) of which £2,500 is ppi

One loan interview states im seasonal and the other states im permanant, despite me being seasonal for the last 10 years.

However the guy interviewing me for the loan said that they classed me as permanant as id been there so long so thats what he would write.

Do i need copies of employment contracts to prove it, or not?

and with the credit card, owuld simply going into the bank and asking for my old credit card account number do, or do i need the agreement?

im sure i had insurance on that as well, would it hurt to send off claiming back insurance on it then they send a letter back saying i never had insurance on it in the first place?, would that damage the rest of my case?

    what should i do next?

Thank you all for your time, you are all so helpful.:j

    Hi there

I take it this is about the SAR which you paid for?

I would write back and tell them you have not received all the documentation that you were expecting, such as Credit Card statements which should have been included within the SAR, tell them if they do not send "all" documentation in relation to your account by 7-10 days you will contact the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
    https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx

Also tell them if they cannot provide them you want a written explanation.

If you've no Credit agreements, they cost normally a £1 each, I would request for these, payable by cheque or postal order payment, and they should supply by 12 days.

Good luck and post for help when required.;)

Lloyds, are saying they have no records of me EVER having a credit card with them:rolleyes:

So for now i am going to concentrate on the 2 loans i have aggreements/proof of.

So now i have typed up the letter from the main board, saying why i was mis-sold both aggreements and i wanted my money back plus 8% interest.

My question in, who do i send it to?

    My local branch (recorded delivery)?
    or
    Head office (recorded delivery)?

    Thanks again for the help:D

    Hi there

How long ago did you take out the credit card - what year?

They still help my details as from 2001, I would write back and ask them about this one again, you could be losing a lot of money here.

Did you send any paperments for the agreements request (CCA)?

You can contact the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) about this matter and see what they think here, or tell lloyds if they don't have a good reason, you will contact the ICO to ask them to act on your behalf on this matter.
    https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx

I have not complained on the loan ppi yet but have done with the Credit cards, and they have so many depts don't they?

Think this may be the one here, but other than that, ask your local branch to confirm the address for you if you want to, they should be able to let you know.

Right sent the letter away to the bank requesting a refund of the 2 mis sold ppi on loans recorded deliver.

Will the bank call me in to discuss it, or will it all be dodne through paperwork?

Also this morning received a letter from Lloyds, saying (basically) "we have searched our databases and can find no records of your credit card you requested data for in your SAR request....however there is a mention of a loan being used to pay off the Lloyds Vantage credit card....if you could provide us with the credit card number we may be able to trace the credit card that way"

This is very strange to me, i had the credit card from 2003 (ish) until 2007/08 (ish), so surely they MUST have records of it.

I dont know what to do now, i mean think i had insurance on the credit card, but im not 100%, seems like its going to be a nightmare to prove this one if neither of us has proof.

Im also a bit worried as one of the loans with insurance is still running, and i am still paying insurance on it, should i have cancelled it before caiming?
You see the insurance was added on to the whole loan ammount and interest added to that as well, so cancelling the insurance would be a nightmare, as the whole loan would need re calculating.
Anyway, thak ou all for the help and advice once again:D

    Hi there

You should receive all correspondence in writing, however they may try ringing you to discuss these issues, but tell them you will not discuss these matters over the phone as you want all correspondence in writing, (in case you have to refer to these later on).

In regards of the information they cannot find, have you any old monthly statements?
I would contact them and tell them you understood they held the information for 6 years, if in England and Wales, Scotland is 5 years.
You could contact the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) the date dept and explain to them your situation and that you requested a SAR but they did not supply all the information, see if they can help you in any way, it may be worth a try, good luck and please let us know.;)

Got a letter through today about my PPI claim saying aically "we are looking into it and we have 8 weeks to get back to you", so we will see what happens.

Ive Emailed (i may call on Monday also) the ICO in the post above regarding the Credit card they cant find details of.

Funny thing is, on my loan application there is a interview/credit check thingy along with it and it details My credit card as Lloyds vantage, £2000 limit, repayments £40 per month, Interest rate 27.1% and payment protection insurance, and that the loan was to pay off the above credit card, but no credit card account numbers or anything.

I really dont get how Lloyds can have all that information, yet still cant find my credit card account information, i mean even the teller who i spoke to in order to cancel the credit card remember me and remembers personally doing it on the system, but says she can longer find it.....Aaaarrggg, anyway rant over, will keep you posted.:p

Sometimes because of system changes, takeovers, merges etc banks systems accidentally lose data. Normally it is much older accounts than yours but every so often a newer one slips through the net. it does my head in believe me!

Don't you have any statements or paperwork at all for this credit card?

No, nothing what-so-ever, ive even tried calling sky as it used to come from that account, but they changed systems recently and new system wont allow that info to be accessed, tried paypal, but card details are gone from there also, been through all old receipts to find card number on them, but have nothing with credit card number on it.

I will see what ICO says, then i may just work out when i got the card, when i got rid of it, and photocopy all references to it Lloyds have provided to me in credit checks and loan aplications and say i had sentinel card insurance that i was mis sold and see what they say.:o
