You first statement contains no interest. If it does they have made an error and you need to call them and get it sorted.
As long as you pay all your bills in full and on time you'll never pay a penny interest unless Vanquis screw up - and this is common.
Best to check when your last statement was produced (if atall) but if you've not received a paper statement through the post how can payment be due now? It can't!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Ok, breaking down their 'logic' for increments.1. I earn over £60k so does the wifeSo, sorry Vanquis your response is utter garbage and a pack of lies. I am not being big-headed when I say I am what you'd call your ideal customer but your theory doesn't wash.
2. I have 3 main cards - all at £0
3. I have Vanquis, also at £0
4. I have £200k mortgage with a value of £450k
5. I have no debts
6. My total available credit is around £7k (less than a months income)
7. Vanquis have only given me one increment.
Put it this way, I know people in financial straits who keep getting limit increases but us that pay in full and/or simply don't need the credit are the ones you refuse increases to because you know we're no risk! Be honest and say you leech to the poor and needy in order to get charges - don't lie and treat us all as being thick - we are not, and your silly statement really isn't worth the paper it is written on.
Your 'response' to this would be interesting - yes, i'll happily supply my Vanquis account number to you if you contact me via PM.
Am I missing something here? You regularly [STRIKE]brag[/STRIKE] claim in many of your posts on this forum that you earn a gazillion pounds per year but yet you are always in the sub-prime credit threads telling everyone about your sub-prime credit cards. No-one in their right mind would be bothering applying for cards such as Vanquis with 60% APRs if they are earning £60k a year, so you are either a) incredibly stupid or b) lying about your income. Which is it ?0 -
Blimey. Even Politicians don't earn £60k ?? is it a typo? I know serving soldiers who only earn £16k.0

Do I spend my time in sub prime? Try again before you mouth off thanks!
I deal with unenforceability, why>? Cos I know it inside out and like helping people - who else does it for free? Eh...?
Get your facts right in future - I do have full accounts and do not use Vanquis which you'd know if you knew anything about me! Sub prime? Me? LOL - ermmm look here! #43
As for my income, what has that got to do with anything and it is no brag - get real, its not exactly being rich is it?2010 - year of the troll

Yea but i'm neither! I work in internal fraud and am fully CISSP qualified and if you read about it, you'll see the average pay ranges from £50 - £140k and i'm in the middle of that band! Not bragging at all, what If I was a pilot? People would know i'd be on at least £60k but that still doesn't mean they'd be shot down in flames for stating their income!
