Well been browsing round lots of threads making up for lost time over weekend.
I really missed just being able to come on when I had a spare few moments, good job I had SunnyGirl (:hello:Hi Louise) to talk to on facebook:beer:
Does anybody know what the new friend bit is under the UserCP?
Anyway it would appear that a few people have not been too well over the weekend so (((((((Hugs))))))) to you all and hope by tomorrow you are feeling better.
Going to watch Secret Millionaire now so hope everybody has a good rest of evening:D"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Hi everyone! Missed you all!
Congrats to Katie!!
All washing dried on line today. I agree - it smells gorgeous! :j
Spent the afternoon with OH trying to get DM's garden sorted. Since Dad died it's become quite overgrown. My parent's loved visiting garden centres and subsequently bought something on every visit. It all got crammed into their small plot and now Mum is suffering the consequences.
I had a new greenhouse for my 50th birthday and can't wait to put it up but it will have to wait till next weekend now.
Not much OS done here due to gardening but I am really proud of Mum. She has done some baking for the first time since Dad died. She's been living on ready meals and bought cakes as she couldn't be bothered to cook for herself. I've been trying to encourage her and she's even had the bread maker out this week. Success!! :j

Evening all,
well no MSE meant I FINISHED MY ESSAY!! Woo-hoo, lol!!!!!! Just got my (short) dissertation to go now & just over 8 weeks left. Already got the structure/headings typed up today & jotting ideas for the different sections. As long as I keep the momentum up it will happen no problemShe says.
I also now have a job offer for a social worker job that I applied for (& wanted) which is even more of a motivator. Start date to be negotiated. So I am currently a very happy bunny....
However, I did miss MSE even though I haven't had much chance to post recently - but I still skim through as & when I can.
Youngest DD(12) was a very good mini-flylady yesterday, lots of hoovering & cleaning downstairs going on. And then she made a chocolate cake!
Katie - congratulationsWhat an exciting time for you!!
Haribo, yep, I'm sure - definitely that Pink... and the rest of you - so glad you're posting again
Wonder if Mioliere is getting anywhere with her internet connection...?!
MSD, thank you hon, glad you are still getting bits from Tristan; like you say better than nothing! Hope you are ok.
Anyhow, just a quick one from me to say hi now the forums are back up!Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -

You know me. Always happy to help.
Finally finished the tidying up. I've made the mistake of sitting down though so the packing may have to wait until tommorrow.
I put some extra powerful solar lights in the garden this weekend and they have just come on so I keep going to look at them.OH is pretending to be blinded by them. They're not very bright but they are pretty and it means I can see my way to the pond to do a bit of night time frog watching.
Did I tell you how much I love my frogs?
:D
The dog is in the corner of the room barking at a balloon. I think she thinks she is protecting us from it.
Well done on finishing the essay and the job offer Squiggly. :T
Sorry you've had a bad day Beth
Prepare yourself for greenhouse addiction Kaz.

Great to be back, couldn't settle to anything over the weekend, did manage to catch up with a couple of friends I hadn't seen for ages, so have had a good weekend really.
Sybil....are you sure that you are the same person....you sound great, so good to know that you are feeling well again!
Nice to see you both back posting, Pink and Haribo...how are you going to keep your seedlings alive while you are away Haribo....we are off for 10 days too and wonder what will be alive when I come back.
Csarina....good luck with the rest of the move....hugs to your poor DD.
Hugs to all who are in need or want

Hi Chums
Well back from Cyprus - weather was rough for first 3 days but then brightened up, have been busy at work so not been on much but did miss reading all the posts this morning in the peace and quiet of a sunday morning, had a morrisons dinner today and then watched the footie (shame that Aston Villa lost) tonight did some crumpets for tea with a nice cup of tea, then watched Jades Funeral on Skyplus, such a shame. On an upbeat Sybil you do cheer me up, and LB he is a little case isn't he? Take care all:beer:

Hi everyone just got in, so missed the early return.
Pink - Haribo really pleased to see you back, can you try to drag Pen-Pen back too?
Congrats Katie, glady you are feeling better WS but think LB is too small to be expected to play in his bedroom.
M has dropped a quick email :
I am at a friend's using her laptop so thought I'd grab the chance to get in touch! Still waiting for the internet to be connected
- tomorrow, hopefully. If not I will look into trying another provider.
I see that MSE is closed for maintenance at the moment. I would have posted on there, as well. Hope all is well with everyone and hope to be in touch again very soon!
We'll keep our fingers crossed for her quick connection.
Off to bed so Night Night all.
