As with all viruses they are made to get the maximum number of people, hence with Macs and PS3s shouldn't have a problem.

No because the viruses are aimed at windows machines (Which the PS3 clearly isnt)
i have noticed it uses trend micro for security. i dont really see the point in being able to surf the net on the ps3. well if you have an internet connection then logically you have a pc. so you would just use your pc to surf the net wouldnt you?0 -

It was a godsend to me recently when my pc went boots-up & took a fortnight to fix. It's also quite good to view some sites on a 40"+ screen........:DWhat if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -

The ps3 is also quieter than my pc and it boots up quicker. It's handy being quieter if you're surfing late at night or early in the morning.
Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.

A big plus for the PS3 is also being able to use BBC iPlayer on a 42" screen. Watched pretty much all of the Apparitions series on my PS3. Brilliant. My farts hospitalize small children0 -
