Just back from Costco - lots of dyson 10" fans in Birmingham (£163.31). Also lots of adults and kids style ugg boots but the sole still looks unconfortable to me as it's completely flat. They had purple, brown and black as far as I could see.

I went in costco bristol yesterday and 15kg of charcoal reduced to £5.97 from £15.00. There are 10 individual bags inside. Great for next years summer - if we have one!

Also they had kirkland shearling (ugg) boots instock - does anyone know if they are long lasting.
I bought 2 pairs last year both still in good nick, the pair I wear most often have a bald patch on the heel of the insole but I'm quite heavy on my heels when I walk, I don't think I need to replace them until next year though. Even if I did I think £15 for 1yrs heavy use is good :)

Skint cat - I don't see why a flat shoe would be uncomfortable, after all our feet were designed to walk on the roughly flat floor ;)

Unfortunately my arches need support (even though I was 'made' to walk barefoot) plus my feet get very sore & tired in hard soles.

    What store?

I was in Liverpool City Centre Costco (Leeds Street) last week and they also had the Genuine Australian Uggs. I think they were £150. Getting all their XMas stock in now - bought some bits already!

Has anyone ever used the Costco Opticians?

Need to get my eyes tested and wondering how good (or not) they are.

(The free part isn't relevant for me, more how good the opticians actually are!)

They do 2 different types, a cow and a buffalo. We get the cow as it's much cheaper and we're not discerning enough to notice the difference. The cow comes in a bag of 5 100g balls, each individually packaged, for £2.15. Brand name is Latbri. The buffalo comes in a large tub of watery brine and the balls are loose. You get around 5 for about £4.50.

They also do massive bags of grated.

    Hope that helps!
    Comper and general cheapskate :)

My MIL uses the opticians at ours with no complaint, I haven't used them myself though - which leads me to ask; what sort of priced frames do they have? Are they all designer?
I've never really looked:eek: shock horror!
