I dont know if this helps, but we had the Costco people at work on Monday and I asked them about the Farnborough store. They said that it's scheduled for early next year - all the land has been bought, just needs to be built!!

Woohoo ... Think I may as well mainline my account to them then! (Reading is waay too far away for me!!)

I can't wait for Farnborough - the site will be a 5 minute drive for me :D I keep checking the planning application on the Rushmoor website and drove past the site last week (visited the Village Hotel which is next door!)

Costco should break into banking, they take all our money anyway HAHAHA

(my exec membership will defintely pay for itself and then some when they do finally open there!)

I've just bought a new TV PANASONIC TXL26X20B 26" HD Ready LCD £293 from Costco with VAT where it is £400 in Currys all but a penny. Now I have the tricky task of connecting it up to cable, DVD & video! Actually have done most of it just need to retune the other bits to it.

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but the Costco website says that the new Coventry store is opening TOMORROW!

Just worked it out and Birmingham is JUST closer for us. Not much in it though!

Coventry is slightly closer for us and avoids the M6, which is always a bonus!

Just thought I'd let you all know that I was checking some prices and have found the following are cheaper in costco that Tesco (my usual supermarket)
Alpen no added sugar 1.3kg £3.15 (although tesco had it on offer at £3 recently, usual price is around £3:50)
John West Mackerel fillets in tomato sauce 10x125g tins £6.29 (62.9p each) is cheaper than tesco own brand too
Napolina tinned chopped tomatoes 12x400g £5.49 (45.7p each) also cheaper than tesco own brand.

Also the kirkland shearling (ugg) boots are back if anyone is interested :)

I went in costco bristol yesterday and 15kg of charcoal reduced to £5.97 from £15.00. There are 10 individual bags inside. Great for next years summer - if we have one!

Also they had kirkland shearling (ugg) boots instock - does anyone know if they are long lasting.
Best wins: Trip to Jack Daniels Distillery, Holiday to Turkey, Holiday to Scotland, SATC necklace! Holiday to Ibiza, £500 Tea set. £1500 black diamond ring, £1000 office in a box, £5000 camping equipment, £2000 golden balls cash!
