I know £55 is not that bad, but I was only going in for the peanut butter and contact lens solution lol.
I'd love to go into Costco one day and buy *just* what I went in for. It'll never happen though!

Well did my (regular) visit to Costco today.

On test they had something called "port Salut" cheese. It was really yummy. It's thin cheese, that when you start to eat it, becomes really creamy.

For those who like softer cheeses, definitely worth having a look at.

It is now manufactured by the "Laughing Cow" people:

Grrrr, I opened the bottle of contact lens solution last night and then decided to check the expiry date. Its June 2011 ( the bottles were produced June 2009) I won't use it all by then, I might ring Costco to see if I can return them or exchange it for a better date. I hope its not a problem, I hate wasting money :(

ooh Mountain Dew!!! I'm soo going for some in the morning :D
Hubby loves the port salut cheese, it is also available in supermarkets so you can try a small one first if you fancy and its not being sampled when you go to costco, be warned the one they do in a wooden box smells vile and will stink out your fridge for about a week!

I love the snacksters too but they're pretty expensive IIRC

One great tip for bikers at Costco is the green Zuru luggage straps. Busters charge £8.99 a pair, but at Costco they are £10 ex vat for 8. I also use them on the car for kayaks - they are that strong.

Not sure when you got yours but today they are £12.99 +VAT (= £15.26)

I managed to return the contact lens solution and got a cheaper one, saved £10 so all is good :)

I know what you mean about the snacksters, they work out 35p per packet. When I comapre this to other low calorie snacks like Special K bars (YUCK!) and Nature Valley bars they don't seem too bad. It would be nice to get a coupon for them at some point/

I've never tried that cheese but anything smelly is a no no in my fridge!

Enjoy the Mountain Dew, its so nice! It works out 63p per 500 ml bottle which I think is very reasonable!

The port salut I have is in slices and definitely hasn't gone smelly :) Tastes nice on crackers.

Does anyone know please if Costco sell the 32GB iTouch (as opposed to the 8GB or 64GB version) and if so at what price?
Saw an aisle full of them on my last visit to Chingford, but didn't note the prices.

If you ring the store they will check the stock and give you the price but Apple Ipods at Costco are not cheaper than other online retailers when I checked last month. Plus for nay online sites you can use voucher codes and get quidco cashback.
