Lots. A big voucher booklet just came out with offers which are good from August 28th through some time in September. Pick up one as you go into the store.

I was in Costco today, and didnt see any VOucher booklets. I am sure they must be due one soon though! Was yours sent to you, or did you pick it up in store please? Has anyone else seen these yet? I am after a new camera and camcorder, and know I should really wait to see if they are going to be on offer between now and Christmas (but its so hard waiting...!!!)

Think we cross posted! Thanks very much for info. Now I just need to see if we can afford them!

Do you mind me asking how you got your booklet-in the post, or in store? I love that offer booklet and I WANT ONE NOW (stamps foot and scowls, in a Verucca Salt style!)

You are so kind to offer, but judging from your avatar, you have got better things to do with your time than pamper to my impatience!

I'm sure I won't have to wait long before it plops through my letter box!

    Thanks again x

  • Hi everyone,

At our local store (Reading) yesterday, they had lots of boxed chocolate goodies, the type you get for xmas.

Included a giant box of cadbury fingers, a jelly babies storage jar / money box (with lots of jelly babies!), some nice belgian chocolate thins, loads of multipacks for (lindt) lindor and ferro roche.....would have been tempted except I know there's no way I have enough willpower to last until xmas - I'd be raiding the attic ;)

Maybe good for birthdays or someone with more willpower than me? :p

Voucher books still valid - got loads of stuff!

    Good stuff (IMO of course!)

Boxes of (individual) ice creams - either chocolate / choc-nut (equivalent of magnums, almond magnums and choc-nut cornettos) or fruit (like mini-soleros). Equiv to around 30p each (for full size magnums / cornettos) or 15p each (for mini soleros!)
    Loo roll (velvet is 40p / roll - !!)
Cheese (especially goats cheese (individual portions), bags of babybel type cheeses, smoked chedder ( ) and jarlsberg. Good offer of 1kg blocks of vintage chedder (under £5 with voucher) right now too).
Meat - great offer with boneless pork leg joints (£3 off with voucher), but most meat is excellent. Sausages, salmon fillet and chicken thighs brilliant value, and pork tenderloin is lovely!
Buckets of maom / haribo - fab for lunches! (and SO cheap compared to even multibuys in supermarkets - even aldi)
Giardelli mixes for brownies and choc chip cookies
Orginal source shower gel (12 bottles for a tenner - cheaper than on offer elsewhere!)
Kettle chips (usually expensive, even here, but on offer with voucher)
Good household stuff - dettol (multipurpose), harpic powerplus, vanish oxi-action - all massive tubs, cheaper than supermarkets!
    Foil - **200m** for £8.49 - !!!!
Branston beans (cheap and lovely - better than heinz. Can be hard to find elsewhere).
Chopped toms - premium brand as cheap as own brand elsewhere.
Frozen risotto mix. Love this - easy meal, and quite cheap too.......

Costco are great for brands you can't often find elsewhere - especially Australian (skippy peanut butter), South Africa (Ceres fruit juices) but especially US (I guess obvious, given it's a US chain!!).

I'd seen lots of US stuff, but yesterday was the first time I'd seen hersheys there. My OH loves this (he likes that sour milk taste....?!? Strange lad!! I find hersheys vomit-inducing but each to their own hey?!)

Things like customer service etc are great too - a nice bonus of shopping here - but the prices and quality are the reasons to go in the first place!! :D:D

    IF YOU'RE SKINT......
Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?

    IF YOU'RE NOT SKINT......
Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?
