If anyone is going in the next week or so could you please look to see if they have Orbit chewing gum in stock please. I have been 3 times in the last six week and there is everything but Orbit.

    Thanks
I went to Coventry Costco yesterday and they did not have Orbit.

    hi

can anyone tell me do you have to have a special card or business to get into Costco have a applied for a makro one as other half has his own business but is it the same for costco plss

    thanks:)
You do need a card to get in - either a trade card (which you could get as your OH has own business), or a personal membership card, which you can get if you work for selected organisations (this seems to have become much easier to get in the last few years). If you have a trade card you can go into the store on weekday mornings, as well as all other times - other members can get in from midday-ish on weekdays, plus all day at weekends. I'm not sure if trade members pay the with or without VAT price though, I'm a non-trade member and pay the price with VAT.

Does anyone know how much the philips airfryer is at costco please? I seen it there the other day but didn't look at the price and now my deep fat fryer has broken down.

Everyone pays the price with VAT. A VAT registered business can claim the money back (they offset the input tax (VAT on purchases) against the output tax (VAT on sales).

So if the business receives more output tax from sales than it pays in input tax on purchases, it must pay the difference to HMRC. If more input tax has been paid than output tax charged, HMRC will refund the difference to the business.

Makro mail starting next Wed has Nicky toilet rolls 3 ply 18 pack for 3.99 plus vat (4.79). I don't know whether this is good value but I have been dying to try them and there is no Netto or Farmfoods around here. Wilkos do 2 ply (or they did).

The lady in the Thurrock branch said that the black versions were selling out really quickly, there were only two left when I went to pick one up earlier (there was still a whole pallet full of white ones though)

Trying out a roast chicken in it at the mo, seems to be doing a great job so far, but we shall see ones its done...

Croydon has the Halogen ovens. The guy on the checkout asked me where I they were because everyone wanted the black ones and he said they must have just come in today.

I got 2 one for me and for my Mums birthday (in January!!!.

I think it's about £109.00. I know I looked at it and it was cheaper than the Tefal Actifry.

I have just tried the cooked chicken. 6 delicious and very large cooked legs with a pot of barbecue sauce for £3.79. Also available big containers of wings for the same price. To be found next to the hot chickens.

They are £7.49 for a tray of 8. They are delicious, very juicy!
