    Morning all,
Plans today are to take all covers on the sofas as it's a good day for drying, why did I choose off white?
Get back to raking out the joints between the stone in the outbuilding as I'm determined it's gonna be a conservatory this year. Still signs of a Roland getting in there. I've put a load of stuff on freecycle so will have people coming and going.
Dinner will be beef curry, must get it out of the freezer. I have enough to take to DD2 & SiL2b. BM has just pinged so will take a loaf for them also.

NESSIE, How did DH get on at the DR's y/day?
HOCKYDUO, Don't suppose we'll see much of you now DH is home. ;)
ELONA, good luck on the viewing tomorrow.
NOAH'SMUM, sounds like you're a great Mum, just remember it's the autism acting up not your DS. Bet he loves you to bits.
MEANMARIE, Hope DH is feeling better today.
TRU, Hmmmm should anything happen to the tv whilst you'r dusting don't forget house contents insurance.
Wonder how Mioliere is coping without her puter, just her luck to get conected whilst the site is down.
SMOKY, This time tomorrow you'll have 3 very happy excited LO's. Enjoy.
Thank you all for your invaluble support.x :A

Edit to say, Sorry SMOKY I posted after you, hope you can find somewhere, after all you have to get done today you will need a holiday.
TIREDMUM, Hope you have a brilliant time.

Talking DH into driving me to Asda later - the bargain loo rolls are too good to resist and as I have been poorly for about 10 days now we could do with going shopping.

Having some more tea before going out to soothe my throat and washing is still in the machine to hang out later.

Have decided to let DH and DDs do as much of the running around clearing up the house for viewing tomorrow asthey want. I will then concentrate on our bedroom and areas of the kitchen that they usually miss.

    Sybil

If you do use Metanium for LB then you only need a very thin layer as it works better that way, I slathered it on DDs till I realised what I was doing wrong.

No idea what to make for tea tonight- might get inspiraton from bargains at the supermarket. Maybe chicken for home made curry or mince for kofta kebabs.

    Hugs and sniffles to everybody.

    Good Morning All

Thankyou for kick up the AS5 yesterday. I did go to the gym, and had a very good work out. I burnt off the same amount of calories as I did when I last went. So I did really push myself. My gym bag is ready for another session today. Then that will be it till Sunday when I do my practise walk!

DS stayed out at friends last night, OH played pool, lost 8-0 - lol! So it was nice to have a girlie night in with DD.

Right best be off and get motivated to some washing.
    Have a great day all
    Take care, Love Emma

    Morning Chums ,
No tru I think i may be the last I have no desire to watch it at all even though the great julie walters is in it I have seen the stage show and that was more than enough.
Very dull and overcast day at the moment in North Kent ,in fact I had to put my heating on this morning as it was quite nippy .History course this afternoon, so that will keep me busy I think we are researching the Romans.
Lovely bit of steak last night for dinner I wished I had been able to buy more at the time,it just melted in the mouth.Think it will be sausage and mash for dinner tonight. Well its going to be strange to be ofsite for a couple of days this week-end but it will give me a chance to get stuck into my spring cleaning .What will the rest of you be doing whilst the site is shut down, lots of OS baking and cleaning I expect.I am definitely be filling up my cake tins for my grandchildren as they break up today and cakes just vanish under their onslaught. <<Hugs to those who feel down and blue>> and I hope the rest of you all have a lovely week-end
    Cheers JackieO xx

I forgot the site was off this weekend but it means I won't be distracted tomorrow from readying the house.

DD(20) is taking DD(15) to Newcastle for the day and once viewers have gone might treat DD(23) and myself to a chance to watch a couple of episodes of "Dexter Season 2" that has just arrived. Oldest DD is the only one apart from me who likes it but my youngest likes "The Mentalist" that has just started and will watch it with me.

Should have a tidy house (at least for a couple of hours). DD(20) is very tidy and neat while DD(15 leaves a trail of devastation and clutter behind her.)

Going to Asda now to look for bargains.

Good morning all, very grey and misty here at the mo, hopefully the sun will burn through and then I shall take the hound for a nice walk.

Didn't do cottage pie yesterday as it was nice and warm and nobody really fancied it! Made a stir fry in the end, using some tofu (50p in Mr M at the mo) it was quite nice cos I fried it in olive and sesame oil to give it some taste, still quite bland though - anyone got any idea what I can do with tofu other than stir fries, or to give it more flavour, seems so cheap that it'd be handy to keep in for cheap eating nights. All help gratefully received!

Loopylinz - when you're in Asda, keep an eye out for the 10kg sacks of potatoes for £1, they're in a brown paper sack, in our store they were just on the floor sort of looking abandoned! Big red and yellow £1 sticker on them.

OS today I've put on the wm and bm and some yoghurt, had a brief tidy and will need to finish the pots and s&s the surfaces in the kitchen in a bit, and hoover - again!

Lunch for the kids was cheese and hm pickle sarnies in hm bread, yoghurt, choc fingers (oh the excitement of something shop bought lol!) and apple and raisins. For me it'll prob be left over stir fry, perhaps a little less crunchy than it should be but still quite nice!

Dinner will be something with garlic bread, as was going to make rolls and left the dough to over rise, so have bunged it in the moski and will turn it into an accompaniment to dinner! I think I might pinch taplady's idea and have gnocchi, not made it for ages and it's quite relaxing and therapeutic!

Need to whizz over to a friend to drop off his birthday pressie - funny boy has asked for homemade stuff like pickles, bread, jam and some of the cider that is now ready lol! Unusual 21st present, but that's what he wants lol! Looks quite nice all done up, bit like a raffle prize lol!

Tonight we have our charity race night, one of the horse racing things on a screen with a compere, should be great fun. We're holding it in the village pub, and they are kindly donating the ploughmans, we have already sold enough pick a square tickets to cover the cost of the chap running it, and have sponsors for all the races, and we have sold all the tickets - dope that I am, I nearly forgot to get mine! So we will make at least £350 plus anything made on the betting! Main thing is to raise awareness and just have some fun though.

Going to make another cuppa now and catch up on yesterday and all the posts that have probably appeared since I started typing this lol! xx

    Edit:

Smokey - good luck sorting out the hols, sure something even better will come along for you, you all deserve it, have a lovely time xx

Donnygal - glad that all the branflakes and whatever are beginning to pay off now, not so bad if you can see some effects for all the effort! xx

N9eav - glad your ds had a lovely birthday and best wishes to your mil for a speedy recovery xx

Tru - I hate those huge tellies too, ds keeps staring lovingly at them in the Sony shop - over my dead body! Glad your FRO fortnight has been so enjoyable, hope that they've all started to appreciate you a lot more! xx
