    Well working as an aupair means I will have no living expenses as well as my own studio flat. As I do know French and am going to take a tefl I will supplement it with teaching English

    When do you actually go ? There is a lot of qualified people teaching english in paris so i do not think you will be able to charge much with no qualifications but good luck anyway.It can be a very expensive place to live.

    And I have already said I won't be paying living costs.
    AND I will be studying to be able to teach english.
    I don't need to make a living, just enjoy myself

  • Your boss sounds like a real bully. Don't be scared to face him with your notice, you are better than him and what's the worst he could do - show you the door (result). I would leave asap. If Spain does not work out then you are young enough to return home and start again.

    I'm a bit puzzled here by "dont need to make a living" on the one hand and the fact that your signature says you have over £6,000 to repay on the other hand.:confused:

    Just wondering how you are going to be able to keep on repaying that debt whilst working on that basis?? (I have the feeling that continuing with debt repayment hasnt been factored in to your financial considerations.......)
